You should change your name to “slow food” chain. It was not even busy and they took 30 minutes to prepare my order… and guess what? It was wrong! Absolutely the worst !

If I could give 0 stars I would. Drive thru you say, might as well go in. They constantly make cars pull ahead to meet their time quota to push people through the line. Pull ahead where? In the full parking spaces from people having to pull ahead. Where did first come first go. Fast food? Ha what a joke.

Only quick meal in town, another fast food place would shut this place down!! How can you call it fast food if you go through the drive thru just to wait in parking area for 10 min or more. And food is always thrown together with no care!!
Stopped to get food here on Saturday Oct 5th and left very dissatisfied. They took forever to ask for my order through the drive through. They took longer to prepare it. On top of it all, the fries were old and soggy. And so was my burger. Never going here again. Bad.

On Saturday, August 31, 2024, we stopped at McDonald’s in Swanton, VT (Restaurant #14960). I have to say it was hands down the worst experience we’ve ever had at a McDonald’s. I get it was a Holiday weekend and they were busy. But not enough to receive the bad service we got. We walked in the front door and all the kiosks were being used (rather speak to a person anyway),so we went to the register to order. We stood there for 8-10 minutes before being acknowledged (this seems to be a thing at all McDonalds lately). While waiting we heard employees arguing with one another. Then when the guy FINALLY came to the register he was yelling back to someone in the grill area about how he didn’t want to “Piss off more people than we already have.” He was very short with us while taking our order. One item requested was fresh cooked nuggets. When the food finally arrived, to our disappointment, the nuggets were warm at best. Not freshly cooked as requested. So we mentioned it to the girl that was working in the lobby attempting to clean it. When it was mentioned, she acted like she didn’t hear us. So we mentioned it again. Her reaction was less than acceptable. She looked disgusted and proceeded into the kitchen (that we are sitting next to the entrance of. Has no door) and say “There is a guy in the lobby who’s claiming his nuggets are not hot!!” Her tone was as if we were lying. I finished my meal before the freshly cooked nuggets came out (that we had to go to the counter and get).I also asked for Ketchup for my fries, but was told “We are out of Ketchup. Yet I had some on my burger. Could have simply put some in a container for me. Didn’t see a manager in sight. While we were finishing up eating, two girls came in with a child to bring what I’m going to guess was the kids Mom, 2 pizza’s and to make plans for the afternoon. I worked for McDonald’s for 6 years in the late 80’s. This kind of service was not tolerated back then and shouldn’t be now.

I often wear headphones in public, so when I order inside, I hate that they remove the number from the ordering screen before your order is ready as I can't hear it being called.
The system is in place for accessibility reasons, and the employees choose to completely disregard it.
