A classic neighborhood diner, with unbelievable, lobster rolls, A burger with 100% Angus beef and local Vermont cheddar cheese…5.95! Come on! No wonder all the truckers stop here on their way. True, there are some upscale restaurants in Bellows Falls, and and at least three are truly excellent. Love those too. But Dari Joy is something else. Don’t miss it.

I personally haven’t been up too Dari joy in several years. Yesterday October 1st, my dear friends Muriel’s birthday, she went up to Dari joy too celebrate her 85 birthday with a lobster roll. She called me this morning to tell me of this experience, I said oh I wonder if it was my granddaughter Chloe who waited on you, she wasn’t sure, but she told me again and again how wonderful the food, and the service was, and how attentive the staff was. She raved on the cleanliness of the bathrooms along with the inside. Food she said was the best, and the atmosphere was just amazing. Coming here for decades. Staff is rude. Haddock is a hit or miss. Miss most of the time now. Last time again not freshly batter and taste not fresh. Waitress didn't ordered my child meal correctly as a kid's meal as my child point out which kids meal he wanted. The dish portion size are very small claiming if its not the kids meal. Waitress refused to correct the bill as its fast food place ran by teenagers. I wouldn't ever recommend dealing with this place. There is a reason its swarming with flies.

This place was really good. The food was decent and the ice cream options were fantasy. The ice cream was excellent. I found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable and the portions were huge. It can get busy at time, but the line moves quickly.

Been going here for years! We showed up just before closing to just get icecream and the wait staff was extremely rude! As we were outside eating the ice cream they took away the trash cans so we had to take the trash with us. Then, one of the rude servers literally asked the other "did they even tip?" (We did) My mother-in-law turned around and told her we all did. That is unacceptable in the service industry, and looks like we will be finding a different place to bring the kids to get icecream!
