Food wasnt bad.
I stopped as I thought they would have some type of bowls with meat, but no such luck.
So just a little misleading but maybe I was over thinking the name. Service was quick and friendly.

Fantastic! I’ve had the African peanut soup many times but today I stopped for the black bean beet burger. WOW! Delicious, well made and the pickled onion and yellow tomatoes made it ! Will return again and again

Stopped for the 1st time ever. Personally I tried the brisket it tasted fine, came with chips, and coleslaw. Really disnt feel like an $18 sandwich The sandwich was great, coleslaw seemed a bit old. Kids liked the BBQ pulled pork on the nachos. Nachos are made with melted shredded cheddar. We may have gone on an off day, the watermelon cherry lemonade tasted like it should have been tossed and a new batch made.

My wife and I went on a mini road trip today and stopped to buy some soup. I had the clam chowder. It was so good. The gentleman working was very nice. And we bought some more ckam chowder and peanut soup to take home. We'll worth the road trip today. Thank you.

The absolute perfect early dinner for a cold and rainy fall day in VT! The slight wait was more than worth it for the delicious Cheech n Chong chili and chili nachos with REAL cheese. The owner puts his whole heart into his food and you can tell. Thank you so much! Definitely will be coming back this fall.

The African peanut soup is rich and delicious and clearly marked vegan on their FB menu. You can also drink it and keep driving! They usually have a vegan wrap of some kind too. Right now it is a tempeh and quinoa wrap with some shredded veggies and coconut peanut sauce. Seriously yummy. I’ve also gotten a curry cauliflower wrap there in the past that was messy but so good. There are not many vegan options in area and I think for flavors and price, this is the best bet. It is now located in Chester, not Bellows Falls.
The most delicious vegan chili I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

The African Peanut soup was off the charts! Spicy and tasty. Glad it came in a cup so it can be easily sipped while driving. Kids had the lobster roll and they enjoyed it.
