The ambience here is terrific at night with low lighting, plants in the windows, and eclectic art. We sat at the bar since we had no reservations. The early grey and grapefruit cocktail was right up my alley and wonderful. However, we didn't know the place was tapas style before ordering. We ordered bao buns, ahi tuna crustini and the tostones. The buns came out fast and then the tuna dish came out an hour later and my boyfriend still didn't get his. So I said something and they explained it just comes out when it's ready and since it is meat and it's cooked it takes longer than my ahi tuna. This doesn't make sense because the people on the side of us had walked in half hour after us and got their baked Mac and cheese already. My boyfriend's dish came out twenty minutes later and both our dishes were great. They ended up not charging us for either of our drinks and apologized for the long wait of over at least an hour and fifteen. The food was really exceptional and the menu is pescatarian friendly which is so hard for me to come by. We got the goat cheese cheesecake croquettes to go and they too were phenomenal. The five stars is a thank you for their discount and a nod to the truly amazing and unique menu!

This is our favorite restaurant in the area! We run a little inn in town and invariably send our guests to Wunderbar for dinner (and also go ourselves at least once per week). The food is simple but creative and delicious. The bar program is fantastic. So is the service: casual but precise. You have to stop by if you're in the area!
we went for drinks ? will say bartender was slow approaching us never acknowledged us ..I had to say " hello we'd like 2 drinks please " & he was very noisy with dropping his stainless steel shaker mixers into his sink ..omg so loud ..would definitely go for dinner and sit in a booth..Parking: it's hard because it's street parking..

Every year my boss hosts a holiday party at one of the local establishments. It's one of the only things I look forward to every year and every restaurant she's chosen always knocks it out of the park and this one is no different. The drinks are lovingly crafted and taste amazing, the food is even better when shared with great company so the more the merrier, but definitely make a reservation! I didn't catch our servers name but he was prompt, polite, and engaging. Every dish, even repeated (several folks got the ribs for example) were identical and not a single complaint heard amongst me or my fellow friends. Spectacular night out, y'all made it unforgettable.
