I am only reviewing the pizza, not the store itself.
I was really excited to find out there was local wood fired pizza, being a pizza nut I had to try it out. I always love finding new pizza.
My first recommendation, come early. If you get here any time after 6, the line is pretty long. Also, I had the unfortunate experience of having a pizza that was not quite cooked. I believe this happens because the oven was way overpacked (my first thought when I ordered). I know from previous experience, putting too many pizzas in a wood oven drastically reduces the temperature, and as such, increases the cooking time. As a a result, pizzas which should cook in less than 5 minutes are taking 20 while coming out completely white on the bottom.
The dough is tasty, though the cold cheese and sauce combo on the tip of every moist flimsy pizza tip is not appetizing, almost enough to stop eating. The dough cooks rather unevenly, as the only source of warmth in the overcrowded oven is the embers themselves, meaning pizzas are cooking from the edges only.

I really hope someone sees this, and can cook just a few less pizzas at a time, which will make all the pizzas cook faster, and more evenly.

Overall, really nice environment, friendly folks, reasonbly priced beer on tap. This is a really busy spot, so a long wait is understood, though I hope next time I visit I show up when they start so the pizza is cooked thoroughly.

We were driving through the area when we realized we needed dinner so we stopped here. They had one thing on the menu, bacon cheeseburgers w/ roasted potatoes, which we took to go. It's small space and they focus on local producers, so I understand having a limited menu that changes daily. They also had a nice selection of packaged items to purchase. We had to reheat the meals by the time we stopped, but they were still delicious! A cozy café and a great way to showcase the local agriculture.

We loved stopping here for lunch. The menu was more simple than the one posted on google but it still has some nice options. We got a chicken sandwich, a grilled PB&J, some sauerkraut, and homemade kombucha. Everything was so yummy (how can a simple chicken sandwhich be so good?) and we loved chatting with the woman making the food. There were a few tables inside but plenty of room outside so we enjoyed our food at picnic tables in the sun. Fridays and Saturdays they have wood fire pizza!

This is an absolutely amazing little store with fresh baked breads, cookies, brownies, sandwiches, pretty much anything you could need. They also have local eggs and produce available and stuff from local farms around the area.My favorite thing about this store? Their business model!! They never turn away a hungry person who can't afford to pay for their meal and they also run a thrift shop upstairs and provide free clothing to those who need it.If you're in the area make sure you stop by and check out all the things that Southern Vermont has to offer!

Their pizza, available on Friday evenings, is spectacular. It's cooked in an outdoor pizza oven and it's one of our favorites. They have an outdoor bar and live music. We try to go whenever we're in town.
