Stopped by on our way home from Smuggs this past weekend. I am absolutely in love with these pies and may have to travel 5 hours just for them (unless shipping is offered, which I would absolutely pay for).
Picked up some breakfast hand pies, that were delicious and filling for the ride home (BEC & strawberry cream cheese). Crust was excellent and my husband and I both said, why aren't more foods served via hand pie?
When we got home we could not wait to try the maple cream pie, was a tough choice with key lime being our absolute fave, but it is incredible. Whip cream perfectly balances out the sweetness of the maple and the salty/sweet Graham cracker crust - I cannot stop eating it.
We are very excited to try the savory french onion pie and I have no doubt it will be just as good as everything we've tasted thus far. Bring a cooler, it is absolutely worth the stop. I'm only sad I couldn't grab more and some merch - this pie does fix everything!

Not worth the drive to underhill when I can go get my meat pie from my aunt for less money.
The pocket pies are insanely delicious.

I ordered 4 pies for Thanksgiving and hands down I will never be making pie again! The pumpkin pie was to die for!!!! Excellent
We have loved every pie we’ve ever tried from Poorhouse Pies.

We were a drive by visit. The whole car voted to turn around and see what's inside. We got a key lime pie
for dinner dessert, and a quiche (sausage mushroom) for Sunday breakfast. Both were voted by the clan as stellar. We will be back. Hoped for a hand pie, but all sold out. I am guessing there is a reason for that. Well done small business!

We bought an assortment of pies for our wedding from Suzanne, and they surely did IMPRESS. Everything from customer service to each individual pie blew our socks off and had our guests raving for days. Thank you SO much Poorhouse!

Every time we go they are closed the past few years (visit Vermont every year). Today arrived at 1:45pm... maybe they are only open in the morning? In previous years, have loved the pies.

My daughter just started a new high school and is pretty unhappy. According to Poorhouse Pies, “Pie fixes everything” so I grabbed 2 pies today. Fingers crossed.

Our family can't get enough! Savory pies, breakfast handpies, sweet pies...Their pastry crust is *chef's kiss* Their catering is delicious too! We waited 30 minutes for doughnuts over Labor Day, and it was well worth the kids' impatient whining. Wish we could special order the doughnuts...they're the best we've had anywhere!

No words can express my appreciation to Suzanne and staff at Poorhouse Pies for the catering job they did for my family this weekend. We were celebrating the life of my husband on what would have been his birthday weekend, an emotional time for sure. Not only did they supply us with fantastic food but it was done with an incredible amount of care and compassion. From beginning to end I felt that Suzanne truly understood our wants and needs but managed to keep my stress level to a minimum. Cannot recommend them enough!
