A great place to stay and relax as a long distance backpacker! The staff was so friendly and helpful and made our stay that much more pleasant. And the restaurant was fantastic.

We went to The Hydeaway for a few nights with our dog, we loved it!! The inn is a few minutes drive from the center of town. The room was clean and comfortable, the food at the restaurant was some of the best food we’ve ever eaten, the wings were crispy and flavorful. The bartender Mikey was attentive, personable and remembered our names from the night before ! 10/10 would recommend and will be back!

Mad River Valley is an incredibly special place to me. And now I have an incredibly special place to stay. Our room- the Fireplace Room- was so comfortable and spacious. We ate every meal in the Inn’s restaurant- and they were wonderful. The staff- from the dinner hostesses and servers to the morning breakfast servers were so friendly and helpful. I am not a “gushy” reviewer, but I can’t say enough positive about this experience.

While visiting Vermont recently, I went to Hyde Away restaurant twice. Both times the meal was delicious, and the service was helpful and sincere, and I mean everyone we encountered that worked there. I highly recommend!

had a bar meal here afyer running a marathon. food was 5 stars. meatloaf was insane. mocktail Mojito was amazing. staff were hilarious. wish I lived in vermont so I could become a regular

Food was pretty good, it was very quiet the day I went in, loved the pretzel and cheese, had their classic burger which was very delicious.

Didn't stay at the hotel. Ate at the restaurant. Get the misty chicken...was great. Great burgers. Good fish. Great service! Make reservations for large parties. Also great selection of beers.

Such a cute little place in a really nice location. The staff are really friendly. Ive been in housekeeping for over 20 years and they did a great job with cleanliness. Even though we were above the bar, the noise wasnt bad. Hoping to go back again soon.
