Got the veggie pizza. It tasted good but crust was way too hard and crunchy. It made it less enjoyable. Also they add a $2.50 charge if you use a card. I can understand if it's under a certain amount but our bill was $70. That was a bit excessive to add a charge like that.
I was driving back to Albany to my hotel from my Killington Spartan race last Saturday night when I smelled some delicious pizza from my car window. When I walked in it was 7:45PM and Sal's closed at 8PM. Thankfully they were still able to take my order.I ordered a large Hawaiian. The large chunks of ham on the pizza was amazing. I have been ordering only eggplant subs for the last 40 years in multiple States and I have to say hands down this is the best one, and the largest, I have ever had. The sauce, the cheese, the bread, all five stars!
