My wife and I have been here twice. Their food is out of this world delicious; the staff is equally great. Had their Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich on our first visit, their Beltie Burger on our second. I’d highly recommend both. This pub is in a great location with nice views of the historic village of Wallingford. Great place to stop if in the area.

Absolutely fabulous meal for two adults and three 8-10 year-old kids. The dining room is really spacious, bright and fun, and the service was friendly and quick. Everything about the food was literally perfect. I mean, how good can a simple shrimp cocktail really be? Well this was the best. Best fries I've had in the State (that's saying something), perfect al dente pasta, excellent fried fish, great cocktails...enough said. Just wish we'd had time / room for dessert. Go try it for yourself 👍

Excellent dinner once again!
Chef owned husband and wife team with 2 sons...one a professionally trained chef and the other the restaurant's bartender.
Never a disappointment. The apps, entrees and desserts were cooked to perfection!

May be the best kept secret in VT. Most tasty food served in an appealing manner. Great cocktails. Friendly service! Worth traveling here! MAKE RESERVATIONS!!!

Absolutely fantastic food. Red snapper and pistachio martinis are unexpected and delicious. Rustic grilled cheese was the best and freshest bread. Stop in if you are in the area.

The food was excellent, and the staff was wonderful. My husband says it was the best clam chowder he's ever had, and I cannot recommend the Braised Beef Ravioli enough. The gentleman who mixes the cocktails should receive a raise because WOW were they good! Overall, we had a great time and are so proud to have such a wonderful restaurant in our little town.

Last night we had the ravioli, cod special, and maple buffalo wings. The food was delicious and the service was great. The pasta is clearly homemade and delightful! We'd highly recommend this spot for a great evening meal in a quaint and quiet town!

Standard food at gourmet prices. The only dish we had that was worth the price they charged was the Braided beef ravioli. Everything else was significantly over priced, especially for the $3 ice teas for each refill. The pork schnitzel was ordinary. The wedge salad was small. The dumplings came out of a frozen bag with watered down soy sauce. We will not be back

Me and my wife went for dinner last night for valentines day.The waitress came we ordered our food,a glass of wine for my wife and glass of water for myself. A different person brought our food.We ate our whole dinner sat there and waited for 20 minutes. No check up.No water refill. Nobody even looked at us enough to maybe get there attention for some water. Food was really good as always. But I've never had a restaurant experience where they don't even offer to refill your water. 100 bucks for two meals a salad and a glass of wine. And zero service.

overall a good dining experience. excellent food skillfully prepared. some wait staff seemed inexperienced.had to ask for bread plates and water. five dollar bread basket should have been complimentary as it is at most other dining establishments.

Great meal - much more than pub food- solid menu with nice specials (Red snapper, pasta carbonara, schnitzel, "real" Caesar salad, gelato as well as "pub" fare and good wine list). Attentive, family style service. Food plating/presentation was done with demonstrable care/style. Some of the best food quality I've had in the central/southern VT area. Only very minor negative is that seating area is in a large room also used for events making the atmosphere slightly less inviting and warm than the food/service deserves. Definitely worth a visit (and a return visit) Reservations recommended. ~$70 pp with drinks/apps/entree/dessert/tip/tax
