Stopped by for lunch and breakfast on vacation. Both were delicious!

Food was quality, service was fast, prices were reasonable. Small gift shop in the cafe, HUGE gift shop in the other building (same company, same parking lot), with fresh made cider donuts (you have to specifically ask for one of the warm ones).

Pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent the braid is homemade and vegetables are extra fresh.

We had the hot Italian panini and the roast beef wrap, both are absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend giving their panini a try because the herb focaccia is amazing: crunch on the outside from the press but such tender on the inside. Heavenly with the melted cheese.

The wrap has a maple horseradish mustard sauce that we wanted to buy from the shop anyways, so it was great to be taste it before purchasing (we end up buying it, it’s not overly sweet with the maple, which we loved)

Best apple cider in New England. The standard cider tastes like any other. But Cold Hollow’s sparkling cider and the cider flight you can order at the counter are fantastic! And if you venture across the parking lot to the gift shop, they have cider slushes that cannot be beat! With the fall foliage, the large stacks of apple crates around in the parking lot and the smell of cider in the air, Cold Hollow is the perfect representation of autumn in Vermont. Love it!

Parking: Large parking in the back of the facility

Kid-friendliness: They provide cornhole outside, picnic table seating on the patio under cover and a cider tasting area in the gift shop where kids can see the cider being made.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have provided a ramp to the front door and the tables can easily accommodate a wheelchair. There is also plenty of space around the tables to maneuver. The bathrooms however left much to be desired.

Great little place to stop for lunch ... when it's not overrun with tourist busses and cider mill visitors. Even with all the people, the wait for food was not overly long. What did take a long time was getting a seat at av picnic table. The bus loads of people just sat around long after they were done eating. Discourteous to other guests, for sure.

I had the breakfast special- 'apple cider donut french toast'. Arrived at a quiet time 9.30am.
I guess I should've been forewarned since this is a tourist trap.
Basically it was 2 donuts split and fried. I needed a sharper knife than the plastic ones they provide because the bottoms were quite a bit overcooked.
Speaking of sharper knives- it would be nice if they brought the plastic tub of butter out of the freezer and let it warm up a bit first so you don't need a chainsaw to cut it into 4 pieces for the donuts. Just above frozen is not a good way to serve it.
They do seem to generate a lot of plastic here, unfortunate since they do obviously have a dishwasher for the tin serving plates.
My order- the 'French toast' donuts, 2 small thin strips of bacon and a coffee- $18.70.
The staff is nice though.
