I've eaten here a half dozen times and loved every meal. The food is amazing, and the old building the restaurant is in has so much character. I've eaten at a lot of places in Vermont and this is easily top 3, maybe even tied for first. Last meal I had was their meatloaf sandwich and it is hands the best meatloaf sandwich I have ever had.

One of my favorite pubs in the world! I usually don't review bars but the food here is so exceptional, I need to. I had the peel and eat shrimp one night and wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary. What I got was really well seasoned shrimp with a cocktail sauce that now haunts my dreams. How can cocktail sauce be so good?? I think they might put curry seasoning in it. Pair that with phenomenal service from veteran bar keeps and the best selection of craft beer in the area and you can't lose.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place when we were visiting Waterbury for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. This was our first meal in the area, and was a wonderful way to start our trip! The food was incredible, and they had some vegetarian and gluten-free options, which I need and hard to come by sometimes. The service was prompt and the staff were very kind and warm. We will definitely come back the next time we're in the area!

Vegetarian options: The salad was huge and fresh! And the chickpea fritters were delicious.
