What a gem! I spent the whole time riding shotgun on I89 researching the best spots to grab dinner with the family for no reason. I should’ve just followed the advice of the internet food gods and headed straight to Blackback Pub. The food was incredible and the service was memorable. Chef Cory is doing what he loves and it shines through. Just about everything but the ketchup starts out from his bare hands. Try the Crab Rangoon Grilled Cheese….its out of this world but makes all the sense in the world. Enjoy one of the last chances to eat a fun and exciting meal before your trip into the VT mountains.

My friends and I were just up in VT this past weekend (Dec 11th-14th) for a ski/beer trip and stopped by the Blackback for lunch, as we're never disappointed. We got to chat with Aaron, the owner who was super chill and extremely knowledgeable about the history of his place and all local breweries and beers on tap. Highly recommend if you're passing through to enjoy an amazing beer list and remarkable food... you won't leave disappointed.

Love this place. Sit at the bar and enjoy conversations with locals. And the food is delicious and skillfully prepared. My all breed dog Club has had their annual dinner party here and Blackback NEVER disappoints.

You can’t ask for a better beer bar! The owner Aaron is an awesome dude that treats his customers like they are his pals. The beer selection here is always killer and the food is excellent! My wife and I recently attended Distribution Day and the tap list was insane! I also ordered the sticky maple gochujang shrimp. These were insane! They were large shrimp that were seasoned perfectly! My wife got the PEI mussels and they may be a new favorite when we stop in. Love everything about this place and can’t wait to go back!

Upon the recommendation of the guys at freak folk, i stopped by for a bite to eat and a quick beer. Sat at the bar as this place was also hopping for a Saturday night. Food was great, beer was great. i'm 2 for 2 for Vermont spots so far.

The food here is like no other..... And it is amazing. They put so much thought and effort into their menu. They can accommodate gluten free also. The have a great beer and drink menu also.
