These guys accommodated our party of 12 on Christmas day at like 8 pm. And the food was absolutely excellent, lovely people
Ideal for a quick lunch, this is my choice for dining at noon most days. Even lunch special plenty of food. Hot hot stir fry makes for crispy veg and tender meat. Sometimes they let me order off the menu schezuan pork (shredded) and I leave so very satisfied.

My husband and I met a friend for lunch.
Plenty of parking and we were greeted promptly. I selected the Lunch Portion Sweet & Sour Chicken with Pork Fried Rice ($7.95) and let me say—I ate ALL of it! It was delish!
My husband had the same thing and he enjoyed his too.
Our friend had the Ribs, I’m presuming and he devoured all his, as well.
This is casual and the food is very filling and reasonably priced.
PS The sign I’ve included, well, that tipped the scale 😆

Food was pretty good. Staff was alright. Place was quite run-down and old. Counter area had water damage covered in old dirt. Kitchen looked like it was put in around 1980. Tables were old, but clean. Funny thing is - it's usually the old, seedy looking places that know how to make good food.😁

Best takeout Chinese in Waterbury.
Quick, tasty, standard Chinese food with lots of options. Takeout mostly, but some simple tables inside. Kinda grungy, but what else do you expect?
The best Chinese in town. Is what it is. Food is always read in under 20 minutes. Almost always 10 minute.
It was Christmas night and very few places were opened. This is a simple place mostly with carry-outs and a few tables to eat inside. The two soups we ordered were weak, but the pork dish with thin pancakes was very good. Hot tea is free and our whole bill was below $20.
Good food

Restaurantji Recommends
Good food, friendly staff. Bathrooms need a bit of an upgrade, however.
Recently my family got takeout from China Star. We got the pork Lo Mein, Crab Rangoons, and Orange chicken. It was all delicious and I recommend going there to eat in or take out. I especially liked the Orange chicken and pork lo Mein but it was all good. Service is quick and easy and the employees are always friendly. (Jacob age 12).

This place is decent. I've been a few times. It's on par with the other greasy American Chinese takeout places in the area. Fast and affordable. The Hot and Sour soup is good as well as the fried rice if you ask them to add eggs. I got the Garlic Broccoli lunch special with chicken fingers.
