Yum! Chocolate truffles and hot cocoa! Lake Champlain Chocolates is a delightful shop where everything keeps getting sweeter the further you make your way in! I loved their signature hot cocoa stand where they also offer coffee drinks, specialty shakes, and ice cream. The women working the counter were patient and helpful. I'm so thankful we stopped here for a treat on our road trip through Stowe Vermont! My friends & family really loved the take-home truffle packs I brought home as gifts!

I love that this is just down the street from my house. Everyone that works here is very kind and helpful. The ice cream is amazing as the gourmet hot chocolates and of course, the chocolates themselves. I think they would make good money if they decided to also do Chinese New Year's/lunar new year chocolate specials. Regardless, I love that they have so many offerings and I think my friend will love her Tět gift.

I have been to this store several times, and the shop is cozy and fun. In my experience, the staff were always polite and helpful. However, and I mean this in the most respectful way possible, I cannot understand the rave reviews about the chocolate itself. I've tried the bars, truffles, medallions, you name it (from the flagship store and from other stores that sell it), and every time have found the chocolate to be hard, mostly bland, neither rich nor sweet, with no melt to speak of. It can't all be stale. I was crushed when this growing conglomerate bought up a highly successful local chocolatier. They bought her recipes as well, and are evidently not using them. If I find evidence to the contrary, I will post an update. If you go to the store, have fun, but set your expectations. Maybe buy a piece or two, try it, and if you love it, then buy more.

They destroyed Laughing Moon chocolates in Stowe and replaced it with their subpar offerings. Such a loss and disappointment.

Generic, Boring, Massively over priced. Worse, once again they bought out a far more interesting chocolate shop. First, it was Green Mountain chocolates in Waterbury, now Laughing moon is gone.

This is a cute store when you're driving around Burlington in Waterbury Center on Route 200. They sell chocolates, ice cream, souvenirs, and hot chocolate. There's a lot of parking and you can sit inside. Service was good. Their hot chocolate is good.

We had a good experience here. I guess I didn’t realize how pricey their products are, we came from a recommendation of a friend.But their dark hot chocolate mix was good, the other chocolates we tried were also yummy but nothing I’d go back out of my way for. Neat experience though and I feel like it was worth it just to go in and see all of the flavors and chocolates they had.

We came because someone recommended this place to us. Overall, it was worth entering and looking at all the lovely chocolates they had, and wandering around. But it's extremely expensive, we only got a few small things to share. They were delicious, but not worth the price, at least for me, I'd choose other chocolates first.
