As an older couple, we have stayed at quite a few very nice places across New England over the years. Many of them indeed have been very enjoyable, but none more so than the Farm Road Estate. The facility is very well maintained and clean; the decor is totally 'Vermont', and the food is fabulous. But what really makes Farm Road Estate stand out is simply the genuinely friendly staff - they made us feel very welcome, in traditional Vermont-friendly style. We can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time at Farm Road Estate!Rooms: Our room was spacious and the decor was so charming!Nearby activities: Mount Snow is less than a 10 minute drive away!Food & drinks: We enjoyed food from the Sawmill Bar & Table as well as the Red Door. Everything was delicious!Noteworthy details: The perfect balance of charm and beauty! I was impressed by the level of detail in every room of this beautiful inn.

We had a nice stay here. Rooms were spacious but cozy, beds were very comfortable, having a mini fridge was helpful, the firewood quality was subpar as it wouldn’t burn and was too smoky. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was accommodating.

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the Farmhouse #4, celebrating our wedding anniversary. I am so happy we found this beautiful Inn, everything about the room, property and location were spectacular! Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, paying close attention to detail. Our room was spacious, clean, stocked with snacks and water bottles, had a fireplace and had the most comfortable bed! There was no need to travel for dinner. We had the most romantic and delicious dinner at the Sawmill Bar and Table at the Inn, our first night and walked 300 feet to a Saloon our second night! We hiked nearby and did some shopping locally also! Cannot recommend this property enough and will be back soon!Rooms: Spacious, clean, comfortable bed, fireplace with firewood and starters, snacks and water bottles provided. Private and welcoming.Nearby activities: Hiking, shops, leaf peeping (during the fall season), skiing nearby during winter.Safety: Felt super safe.Walkability: There is a Saloon and wine bar within short walking distance.Food & drinks: One of the best meals we have ever had at the Sawmill Bar and Table. Amazing, attentive waitstaff.Noteworthy details: Attention to detail was so special. Inn staff were so friendly and inviting.

We had our wedding at Farm Road Estates in late September, and it was truly an incredible site. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is wonderful, the food is delicious, the grounds are stunning - I could go on and on. Taylor, the venue coordinator, was a dream to work with and made us feel so welcomed and supported through the process. We were able to do everything onsite - rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and breakfast the next morning - and that made planning and day-of logistics SO easy. Our guests loved being so close to every event and we had many people tell us this was the best wedding venue they'd ever been to. Overall, everyone at FRE was wonderful to work with and happy to customize the wedding weekend to exactly what we envisioned - the flexibility and adaptability (rather than a cookie cutter approach) was just one of the many things we loved! Highly recommend FRE - we can't wait to visit again without the pressures of a wedding!

Where do I begin...this entire property inspires nothing short of novel writing. The staff was splendid and the grounds are snapshots from any Martha Stewart editorial. Immediate peace comes over you and I was ready to move in permanently. The breakfast was outstanding and Steve was a beautiful host.Rooms: The Woodshed was beautiful and charming. I have never seen anything like it in my life.Noteworthy details: The beauty of the property is unparalleled. As we were the only patrons on site that night the staff opened the dining room especially for us for breakfast the next morning. Every detail was attended to. Amazing experience

We stayed for one night and are already planning a return trip. Customer service was excellent. Everyone was so friendly! Super comfortable beds- we slept SO good. Great water pressure in the shower. The room was beautiful as was the entire inn. The on site restaurant was great. My kids and I loved the pool. Every little detail, from the note and homemade granola to the snacks and extra towels, was taken care of. Cannot recommend enough!
