This food was fantastic - even driving it back to our airbnb to eat made the car smell SOOOO GOOD! This is true, authentic indian food. i was so excited to see there was a veg place in the area! I talked to the owner for a bit who has a heart of gold and is so friendly ❤️ her cooking was amazing , can't wait to be back … this place is a must try !!

Best Indian food in Vermont! At first we were skeptical because it is attached to the Austrian house hotel. But stumbled across them at a street fair and now our favorite place to get take out. Everything here is great.

We moved away from Dover 18 months ago and I miss Shital’s Indian food dearly! The Palak Paneer and Chana Masala are the best I’ve ever had. Your food was my favorite in the whole Deerfield valley. Please let me know if you find a way to ship your food to Conway NH!

I meant to write this back in February when I was up at Mt Snow... I had a bit of a challenge finding this place but the food was worth it! I stopped in for takeout on a Saturday night. I am not sure if there is a place to dine -in (if there is no one was there) but I came in to the Austria Haus and asked at the front desk if I was in the right place. The super nice gentleman informed me that this was it, and pulled out a menu. I got Palak Paneer, Chana Masala, and the Puff Pastry. The Puff pastry was the most delicious thing I've gotten from an Indian restaurant! The Palak Paneer and Chana Masala were both really delicious. Generous portions and very friendly service. I highly recommend takeout from here!

Whoa. Bought Shital's food at the farmer's market in Brattleboro and cannot say enough good things about it all. So glad we decided to buy a lot as everything was excellent, beautifully spiced, huge bursting flavors. Did not know we would ever have such great Indian food nearby. Hope to be regulars. The palak paneer was a standout, so too the rice pudding. But everything was deeply delicious. Thank you!
I'm so into this place. This is my favorite Indian food of all time and I've eaten at some fantastic places in NYC. I have to have it when in town. The palak paneer is a must. The owners are always friendly and you can tell they put love in their food.

It's inside the Austrian Haus.Mainly for take out but you can sit in the hotel's lounge area to dine (food will still be in To go containers but you can ask for a paper plate)Obviously not for everyone, but for Indian food addicts or if you are looking for healthy, vegetarian, eco friendly dining choices, give this place a try.Owner: you really need to put the restaurant on Google maps too. I doubt there are any other Indian restaurants in the Dover area.

I think I'll try it!Palak paneer: OMG, so creamy, lots of greens, rich cream sauce with enough spice that you can definitely taste it.Saffron rice: fluffy, yellow, delicious, a perfect base for the palak paneerMango mousse: holy cow, mango cardamom deliciousness!I got a single order of each and will have enough to eat a full meal again later, even the mousse.I had to stop myself before I ate myself sick, it was all so, soooo good.Would give 6 stars if I could! Treasure this place and keep it alive! I'll be ordering more next week...
