The Green Mountain Special was an unexpected delight with apples and maple syrup on it. Unfortunately when we called a few ingredients were out (busy weekend I guess) but the pizzas we got were good, though a little sparse on the toppings for our large pepperoni and onion and mushroom!
Everyone comes to this little hole in the wall place for what is rumored to be the best pizza in the NEK. Don’t waste your time. The pizza is nice but nothing special and it takes forever between the time of ordering to the time you are able to eat. I mean it should be AMAZING if you are required to wait for an hour and forced to shop in the mini market because your kids are so hungry they are on the verge of a meltdown. Seriously overrated.
Parker Pie isn’t the easiest restaurant to find, given that it’s in the tiny rural community of West Glover, Vermont. And it’s hidden inside a small general store. Drive around to the parking lot and enter by the back door. Only a few tables. Had excellent Greek pizza with fresh spinach, juicy black olives and feta on a cheesy crust. Lots of pizzas to choose from. I was an enamored with the chicken wings, too much sauce. And make sure to order with blue cheese, not ranch...
