Such a gem in the middle of nowhere (to me)
Service was great and food was super tasty
Excellent food and great service. We ate hamburgers. Simple, but practically perfect.

This is nothing but a biker bar trying to pass it so far is a fine dining restaurant.
$27 for a crappy piece of fish.
And the waitress was a liar.
Better off to go to any other place but here.

Small pub in a good location near Willoughby Lake. Sandwich and Burger at reasonable prices and a small terrace

If you're ever in these neck of the woods, you must stop @ the Gap. Great specials, local craft brews, lively atmosphere. My go to is to order all the appetizers with zero regrets.

Right next to the lake which is continent. Burgers are okay, not bad, but nothing special. Drinks are pretty yum. Good place to grab a bite and a drink if you’re swinging through town.

Really great place for a burger and a beer before or after a nice time at the lake Willoughby. We really enjoyed the nachos, but would not recommend the crab rangoons. Service was really good !

We grabbed a bite on our drive home from Willoughby as we were famished. We had our dogs with us and decided to sit outside so we could keep an eye on them in the car with the windowsill down. No dogs allowed on the patio. We sampled the poutine and crab rangoons as an appetizer. Both were delicious and filling. The crab rangoons had good chunks of crab meat and the Thai chilli sauce was on point. The poutine had just the right gravy I needed. It was a well balanced salty and savory gravy. My partner and I also split the blackened chicken sandwich. Service was quick and courteous. Highly recommend!

Been there before. It was fine. Went to tonight, not good. We waited for over an hour for our food. Fries were cold. Hamburgs were overcooked. Very loud.

Stopped here for lunch. Good food and staff were friendly. Took a while but they had small staff and it was a holiday weekend so was to be expected.
They were hustling

Good service, nice bar, not huge portions and food was just okay. Probably won’t go again but still worth trying if you haven’t before

We expected it to be busy on July 4th. We were not in a rush at all and were prepared to wait and enjoy ourselves. There were actually multiple open tables at 1:30 PM including 2 where we requested to sit outside.Bartender/waitress had ZERO smile or any hint of friendlessness when greeting us, in fact she seemed annoyed by our presence. She Did bring us outside to a table we requested (kicked the others off it who had sat themselves there which was awkward). Curtly explained to us that it was very busy (didn’t seem it to me) and that She had just triple seated the outside waitress and we should be prepared to “have our patients and wait for quite a while.” We said no problem. That is until the waitress came out, took the drink orders of the people right next to us didn’t even look at us and/or smile and at least acknowledge us or say hello. 15 minutes later she could’ve at least said hello or brought us some water or drinks —we were prepared to wait an hour or so for food which would’ve been reasonable on any holiday. But the reality is that on July 4 they should’ve expected it to be busy - just like we did. We had no problem waiting, however They seemed to have a problem serving us at all or caring that we were prepared to spend our money there. We went down the road and brought our money elsewhere - and will do the same in the future. If running a restaurant makes you depressed, mean and nasty, Maybe you shouldn’t do it. Pick a different acknowledge if you don’t like it and you don’t want to be friendly, especially when your customers are willing to be. After reading the other comments I don’t think we’ll give it another go. Seems to be the norm-bad service and mediocre food.
