I give the atmosphere 5 stars because we were the first to arrive and it was a beautiful warm and sunny day for outdoor seating. It’s hard to say what it would have been like with a crowded restaurant, although we tend to avoid overly busy times.
Our waitstaff were very nice and prompt.
We were disappointed with the food and its overall flavor and freshness. We ordered taquitos. The chicken did not look or taste fresh. It was rolled up dry chicken in tortillas. We were starving after a game and didn’t say anything and ate them.
We ordered a burritos bowl, and two tacos and both seemed to be lacking in flavor. We stayed for a few bites and took everything to go. Overall for us it was freshness and flavor that got us today. The food today at opening did not live up to the raving reviews I’ve been told but the service did. Thank you.

We were sat right away which we thought was great! However, we waited over 15 minutes for someone to greet us and bring water. “I’m sorry about the wait. That was my bad” said the waiter with a laugh. She forgot to bring my husband’s coke for another 10 minutes. She even refilled our water before she remembered his drink. Food took forever (we were the only ones there. Another table was there, but they had already finished eating. 6pm on a Friday FYI). The food was ok. My rice was AWFUL and hard. The shrimp in the taco was rubbery. The carne asada taco was average. However, the fish taco was really good. My husband enjoyed his meal ( Buffalo chicken quesadilla with the corn bread). While we were actively eating (I was chewing and my husband was in the middle of biting into his quesadillas. Only about 15 minutes after food arrived) the waitress tried to take our plates and asked if we wanted boxes. We politely told her we were still eating. We are not sure why that wasn’t obvious as we both had food in our hands. They don’t close until 10 pm on Friday. So for her to rush us out really ruined our date. We have 3 young kids and finally had a chance to go out on a date and enjoy ourselves. We picked agave because it was close to the movie theater. We quickly learned why the place was dead on a Friday around 6.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This should not be called a Mexican restaurant. Any Mexican restaurant I have ever been too always seated you with fresh chips and salsa at NO COST. My daughter’s enchiladas were covered in pasta sauce and mozzarella cheese, she took one bite and the rest in the trash. The rice and playdoh consistency beans were bland. I ate about 10 bites of my carne asada bowl. My husbands crunch wrap was ok, it was served with the same bland rice and playdoh beans along with a side of “salsa” which was pasta sauce. My youngest ordered a shrimp taco and street corn. Her street corn was half of a cob of corn. We just drove 6 1/2 hours to VT for a work trip and we’re starving. We also left hungry. The wait staff and water was the best part. I will never be returning.
Food was decent, but orders got messed up (waitress didn't write it down) and they were out of Carne Asada at 6:30pm. Fish bowl had tons of rice, but limited fish. Plenty of waitstaff around but slow overall service for our table which seemed to be handled by Bar tender. Hope they dial it in.

I had the best Carne Asada burrito bowl. Lots of fresh ingredients and great tastes.

They made the taco salad completely wrong. It was just beans and some lettuce. No sauce
Please enable business messaging b/c as a fellow GMB page operator I feel terrible giving a bad review but our Street Corn order today (which is normally super dank) was wayyy overcooked…basically charred black… definitely coming back but hope it’s better next time

Nice place to eat good clean food. Very nice variety. Wait staff was very attentive to allergies.
Dietary restrictions: The waitresses were very thorough to check foe allergens and the chef provided alternatives.

Great place. Was confused why this was a 3.7. Drinks may a little too sugary, but the place is nice.

It was very good, I would go back, but the cleanliness of the floor and the toilet discouraged me a little, a shame because everything else was perfect.
Parking: Shopping center, lots of space.

The food was mediocre. I got the battered fish tacos and they were inedible. The sweet potato tacos were way over spiced with chili powder. The carne asada was dry and chewy. The house margarita was pretty flavorless. Next time I'd go to chilis.

Ordered the taco meal. The refried beans were dry, as was the barbacoa taco (inedible for both). Chicken taco had multiple bones and gristle pieces. Cornbread was also dry and fairly flavorless.
Less than satisfactory meal, particularly for the price tag. I will not be returning.

This is not Mexican food. I ordered enchiladas and those were not enchiladas, and that sauce was not enchilada sauce. It's an insult to Mexico to call this Mexican Food.
Exciting fun and alive. Had a great time at there trivia night. Food was also exceptional.
