I've never tried this place before, even though I've driven by it a billion times, so i finally called in a lunch order for noon, and it was super hot and fresh when I got there. The sesame chicken had the perfect crisp to it, and the spring roll was perfect. I plan in the future to go back and try out other things, but I do recommend stopping by if you're looking for good Chinese food!!!

Good people at the establish and I know it’s been a staple for years. But, there’s not enough people working there and the wait time is way too long. Food was good.

Sandy (who I believe several of these negative reviews are referring to) is an absolute gem- if you take the time to get to know her! I haven’t been in the restaurant for some time since I moved but I was just telling someone how funny and enjoyable she always was! She always remembered my name and details about my life! Food was good too ?

Really good food at a great price! Portions are huge in combo plates. I like all the appetizers--hot and sour delicious! Gai Poo Lo Mein is exactly like what I got back in Boston in the 70's at Lanai Island (Waltham, MA). It's incredible that the same recipes exist. Staff is terrific! Try some of the Chef's suggestions--they're really good!

Authenticity matters. Where else around here do you see ma po tofu made the way it should be (ground pork and real Szechuan seasoning), wonton soup with actual roast pork and appropriate veggies, and yakta mein soup on the menu? You don't. If you want Americanized Chinese food as you find it anywhere in NYC, this is your place. Lots of reviews on here miss the point. Haters seem to highlight: - People are rude. (Ok, probably, but I'm picking up delicious food from the counter and don't care). - The guy who is reviewing every Chinese restaurant in Chittenden County by ordering sesame chicken (that's not real) and teriyaki beef (there's a Japanese joint right around the corner). - Paying for a discounted combo and getting too much fried rice (duh). - No atmosphere (that's what the Single Pebble is for). Yelp wants me to comment on service and ambiance. Ok...there's none. F*** you. Get your delicious food and get out. Enjoy...If you're here for this place's intended purpose, I guarantee you will.

Best in the state. I would very much accept the challenge proving otherwise. The food is incredible the service is fast and the staff is friendly. Only place I go in the state for chinese, I’ve gone 50 miles just to go here…no joke

The food is always good but you should wait to pick up at least 10-15 minutes past the time they predict or you'll be waiting in their weirdly dark space that they don't want you to mistake for a dine-in option at all.

They just increased prices and lost my business. The food is great. But I refuse to pay $18.50 for a single order of General Tso's chicken now, and then get asked to give a tip for takeout.
Wow! Loved it!!! Prego wife loved every bite!!
