This is a gem for miles around. One of the top chefs in the area, preparing his food with love and amazing attention to details. Inventive offerings and wonderful hospitality. I love it when the chef/owner personally checks in with each dinner. 5 stars
My partner and I came here to celebrate my birthday and while our food had wonderful flavor and the service was good - waitstaff were attentive just the right amount and ut was great to meet the chef after the meal (he made his rounds ro every table which adds a few personal touch), the overall experience felt a bit lacking.I ordered the fish which came with corn chowder, potaoes, and bacon. My partner and I do not eat pork so I was very happy the chef was able to substitute asparagus...
We were staying in nearby NH and found this spot on Happy Cow… called to see if they could accommodate a soy allergy as my son has one. They not only said yes, but the chef called me to confirm the severity of the allergy & discuss alternate options. Heads up that they do take reservations & were fully booked our first night in town. But thank goodness we got in Saturday. They had printed menus for us with our options, and we got one of everything. We had a Peach Gazpacho...
