Great place that my wife and I enjoy taking our ten year old twin boys to for an occasional dinner out.

The music was perfect for entertaining, but you could still hold a nice conversation. The food was perfect, and beer was great! Would totally recommend it for a date or family meal 😊

We rented a heating shed and looooved it. So did our dog. Played music, played cards food was amazing I got the Vermont salad and my girlfriend got the chicken tenders. I've always loved harpoon and I am never disappointed.

Our server was amazing. I'm sad to see. They stopped serving sausages and turned them into hotdogs. I understand for the kids crowd, but it would be nice to have something besides burgers and hotdogs. My salad had far too much dressing on it, but I'm sure it would be fine if I asked for dressing on the side.

The service was friendly, prompt, and unobtrusive. The ales were excellent! We had the hard cider and the Irish stout, opposites in many ways, but both were delicious. We loved the pretzel, onion rings, and fries. However, we were a little disappointed at the Vermonter sandwiches. The toasted white bread was dry and bland, and the filling was adequate but not generous.

Jonas wings was absolutely tasty and amazing! Weekend special French onion soup was fantastic and all of our family enjoyed every single meal!

Once again Harpoon comes through with a welcoming atmosphere, amazing music thanks to Jason Cann and his many guest musicians, and the fantastic Beverly who makes everyone smile. The servers are always patient with check splitting and chaos and hats off to them for that feat.

Came for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night with my wife and twin sons who are 10. First, I have to commend the hostess. We arrived for our reservation on time but a family that walked in to the restaurant in front of us didn't have a reservation. They were politely told that there was not any availability for the entire evening. The wife/mom was incredulous. She just would not accept the hostess at her word and kept asking for clarification. This went on an uncomfortable and, quite frankly, a rude amount of time. The hostess handled it very calmly and professionally. The meal was outstanding and the service was excellent. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the noise level and music. There was a rock and roll bingo game going on and the music and DJ were very loud. It wasn't a big issue for me and my wife but the kids had a hard time with it. But it was a Saturday night and people were having fun. Just could have reduced the volume to be less disruptive to those not playing bingo and trying to carry on conversations. The service was outstanding and the food and drinks were excellent. Just make a reservation and maybe be careful about bringing kids if they are sensitive to loud music.

I have waited for a year and half or so to write this review and thought long and hard about what my girlfriend and I experienced one Sunday afternoon in Windsor. We had been be coming to the Harpoon in Windsor for about 10 years and thought of the employees as freinds and family. We gave positive when deserved promoting the Harpoon to firends, family and total
strangers and sugestive corrective criticism in hopes things would improve. We had reserved the same table , a week in advance , every Sunday afternoon for 6 months to come see Brooks Hubbard. We walked in that Sunday afternoon in March and were told by Hosttess Abby that we couldn't have the table we had reserved. I asked why not and she said they gave it to another party that wanted it. Abby and server Victoia said it would be ok while giggling. I said it wasn't and I explained why we had reserved that table and asked to speak to who ever made the decision not to honor our reservation. We decided to take another table that was offered to us. We were sitting there when Nick Emanuel , who we thought of as a friend and family came to the table ,not make eye contact or anything shook his finger between Lori and my faces . He angryly shouted you have 2 options behave your selves or leave and offer no explantion to why our reservation wasn't honered. It beacame quite clear to us that after 10 years and spending 10 to 15 thounsand DOLLARS a year we we're not welcome or our business appreciated . Not one person in management ever reaced out to us to se what happened. WE miss our Thusday nights with Jason and all lthe friends we made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most all the locals will say the same, it's not for the food or the beer beacause it not that great, but Jason they go for on Thursdays and some wish there was another venue .

Really solid bar food, great Vermont green salad, awesome sandwiches and an extensive offering of beers and ciders—Delicious. Friendly staff, outdoor live music. Can't go wrong!

Great day to spend outside at the brewery. We were greeted warmly and a super friendly and professional assisted manager introduced herself and brought us to our table. Our server also was friendly and professional. I apologize for not remembering names.

Great beer, cider, and food! Nachos, chowder, & sweet potato waffle fries were great. Ceasar salad could be a little better. Lettuce was big and the dressing was scarce. The dressing could be improved as well. Atmosphere is great and the staff is always so nice.

Rude staff, exceptional slow food service, their beers are actually cheaper at restaurants. This place is a skip.
