I'm sad I can't rate this place higher. we arrived around 9:15 and quickly decided on our food and ordered. I got the crema enchilads and my boyfriend got the mole enchiladas. they were both delicious. however, it took about 35 minutes for our food to come out. we didn't mind waiting and enjoyed listening to the music and eating chips and salsa.
by the time our food finally arrived, it was 9:50 which meant only 10 minutes to eat before closing so I felt rushed eating. I guess the waitress was really either having a bad day or in a rush to get out of there which I do understand but I felt like considering how long the kitchen took to get our food out, she could have been more patient with us. I was trying to chug my drink and she came up to us and grabbed it without even asking if I was done with it or not. I was honestly speechless and felt like I was in one of those tiktok pranks where they ask the waitress to take their friend's food away early to get their reaction.. my boyfriend went up to her and asked for my drink back and she did apologize but I'm sorry who does that? alcoholic drinks are not cheap and a rare treat for me so I'm going to savor every drop and I don't feel like that's asking too much. I felt like in such a rush and like they wanted us out of there so badly, I didn't even use the restroom when I needed to, I just wanted to get out asap. we were only in there past closing because the kitchen took so long getting our food out when we were the only people waiting on food
they need to stop accepting food orders for the kitchen after a certain time for dine in if they're not going to allow their customers to actually enjoy their food and drinks they paid for
we were also not given a receipt and had to ask for one before leaving. I left upset even more so because we aren't from the area and this is the one restaurant we chose to visit while in the area for my birthday. I don't fully blame the waitress. the business either needs more employees or change their kitchen hours.
also when we first walked in people were being obnoxiously loud. not the best environment but the food is good. maybe order take out but I can't recommend dine in

First visit. Food was good. A bit different than the Mexican food we're used to...but good. Plenty of flavor...something that's sadly lacking in many of the area Mexican places...and their sauces pack a bit of heat. Not overpowering, but enough to notice it. We'll be back.
