Had the seafood platter with a local cider. It's probably the biggest and most tender calamari I've ever had. They're not going to be in rings but like in sticks. I was worried the fish was going to be mostly breading. Nope, fresh moist, flaky fish with a light breading. Everything was perfectly cooked.

Good chowder. Service was okay. Fish and chips were fine; kinda tasted like a Sysco item and not fresh. Our shrimp cocktail was not good, very small for price as it was mostly brownish lettuce and three small shrimps with no cocktail sauce and No, we didn’t ordered it like that. We didn’t know it was like that as we placed an order to go and didn’t find out till we were home. They did have a couple of tasty very large lobster tails reasonably priced that were very good. Worth going back for those and the chowder.

GREAT FOOD! Had 3 pieces of cod and made it a meal with chowder, and fries with the fish included lemonade. Service!! The people running the counter were knowledgeable and patient. Oooo, and very faster and hot on all!! Atmosphere, we'll I loved it. Ain't fancy. View of the bay and docks where fish was formerly off-loaded. Although, labeling it as "casual" is far over-complimentally. Yea, but I loved it anyhow.

Opted for here to eat with family because their menu shows broiled options. Arrived to order and told their oven is down, no broiled fish. Rest of the family ordered. Fried fish was decent, good onion rings, but chowder did not show up. When asked about it they advised us "oh, I'll bring it out we've got to heat up some more." Not worth the $48 for three lunches.

Breakwater seafood & chowder house in Aberdeen WA has to be the best seafood I have ever eaten in my 52 yrs. HIGHLY advise checking it out. Oh and it’s on the water! Thank you for good food & relaxing environment.
