All I have to do is walk in and the young man cook is already getting my bacon cheeseburger ready and it isn't like u come that often he is just that good. Other the hours you are open we love this place and that is only cause I don't get off during the week to make it here for my burger before you close.

Don't expect fast service for good food. Prep one ticket at a time. Minimal staff of a cook and a waitress. A local dining spot where they all know each other. Looks a bit rough and aged decor but you go for taste and quantity. Locals can be loud talking to each other but it reminded me of a group of friends.

Came in was treated at our table with a nice server..ordered our food. After an hour and 16 min we got our food! Granted it was the day after 4th of July but waiting this long is unacceptable the food was ok Definitely could use the restaurant make over guy to come help out or something…and no offer to discount anything off the bill.

Perfect for slow mornings. Old guys at the counter enjoying the day. My wife and I both had Gramma Swanson's Omelette. We could have split one. Full of ham, mushrooms, cheese and ham. It was delicious and gave us the energy to get things done.

The waitress was great, attended to us promptly and professionally. I don’t mind waiting, but the only cook in the restaurant LEFT THE PREMISES with orders stacked up. It took over an hour for us to get a simple breakfast because she didn’t even start cooking until 45 minutes after we ordered. I’m not usually this salty, but come on - do your job.

Pretty sure everything from gravy to biscuits, hashbrowns, and sausage patties came pre-made and not homemade which is what we had hoped for in a small local joint. And the service was incredibly slow for what they were putting out. Won't be back.
The chef got me and my girlfriend Benidita the food quickly and it was sublime with portion and flavors. I had to ask who made it and they said a solo chef named Mason. He came out to speak to us and was very nice. Great customer service. You can tell he loves what he does. My girlfriend got a chicken fried steak, and I got a plain cheeseburger. It was cooked perfectly. Chicken had a nice crisp to it, and the gravy had a good flavor and consistency. Would highly recommend The Diner to anyone in the area.

A group of us stopped in this morning for breakfast. We are all about supporting small businesses rather than chain establishment. This was a diverse group so when we first walked in, the vibe wasn't welcoming at all, but we decided to spend our money here instead. Customer service is not a thing here which is very unfortunate. We waited patiently for literally 2 hours, and never gotten our food. Our orders were very simple and far from complicated that one person ordered just 1 pancake, another ordered a toast and couple of sausage patties, and you're going to tell me that it took 2 hours to make these? There were people who came in 30 minutes after us and they were served first. The wait staff and the cook are not good at lying, they told us 15 minutes after an hour of waiting. Our experience was disappointing. Please don't wait you dollars here, pass on by, you'll find better options where you'll be treated like a customer and not an inconvenience.
