This place is fabulous! Nice staff - I enjoyed a wine tasting & made some purchases (wine, chocolate, hat & some gifts). The gardens are incredible & dog friendly! Wonderful stop.

I have been to the winery and museum a few times but we recently had a girls weekend with 8 of us staying at the Commanders Palace, a beautiful home and very short walk to the winery and museum. We toured the garden and museum as well as enjoyed wine tasting and a wonderful dinner at the winery. I highly recommend visiting. We are planning make an annual weekend tradition of it.

We have driven by The Westport Winery many times on our way to Westport but have never stopped.
Finally a couple of weeks ago, we stopped on a Tuesday for lunch. After strolling through the AMAZING property, we stayed for lunch. It was early and not busy so we got right in. The food was so delicious and the staff very professional and friendly.
Then, last night when heading back from a day in Westport, we decided to stop for dinner around 5pm. We were blown away not only by how good the food and wine were, but the reasonable prices as well. The portions were huge too. We highly recommended stopping in.

If you’re a green thumb, check out the garden.

Best place for kids and adults! Magical gardens beautiful mermaid museum for kids!! And delicious food! The raspberry cream pie with the dig dong was spectacular!! The owner told me they would travel well. 2 hour drive and they tasted delicious!! Really amazing place. 👏

The staff here are always happy to answer questions and make recommendations. The spirit and wine clubs are a great opportunity to save on high quality products and entertain your friends with tastings. The gardens also provide an excellent opportunity to stretch your legs in nature and enjoy a glass of wine with friends. It's worth the detour to stop and spend a couple hours.

Service was fine, but the drinks from the cafe in the mermaid museum was bad.

We had a party of 5 and was seated in the lighthouse room. Wendy was our server and she was by far one of the best servers we had ever experienced. The food was excellent, having salads, chowder, fish tacos, cod and chips. Wendy, along with the good food would bring us back to the Westport Winery again.

Had lunch here today. Our waiter, Liam, was excellent. They were out of the cornmeal biscuits when I ordered. Liam spotted them fresh from the oven and soon I was enjoying a delicious biscuit with their jelly. My tomato soup and salad also very good. Thank you Liam .

Oh my goodness. The Giant Hawaiian cinnamon roll... 🤤 Be prepared to share it or take some home.

Other than that, I had the prime rib and it was delish! It was Sage's first night serving and she did a wonderful job. Thank you!

Bad service, bad wine. The service was horrible, they just tried to sell us on the wine even though it was shallow, bland, and watery. They were so rude when we told them we didn’t like the wine. Food was overpriced. They also basically ignored us and didn’t want to talk to us about the wine.

This destination is truly a must see, featuring breathtaking gardens, a charming wine tasting bar, a unique mermaid museum, and a restaurant. However, be prepared for a long wait time at the restaurant, over an hour, despite many available tables. Making a reservation is highly advisable unless you don’t mind the wait. We did not wait and just got some pie to go which was $9 per slice.
