Cool little dive-ish kinda place. I live in Ariel, so this is my go to place for food and booze :-) They have bar, booth and patio seating. The chicken fried steak is the best I have ever had. Great onion rings and home made ranch dressing.

We always stop at Nicks when we're staying at Lake Merwin Campers Hideaway. It's a must. Great food, great people. Sometimes we give our Harley out with a bunch of friends as well it's a beautiful drive. You won't be disappointed if you stop in and grab a bite.

Out taking a drive ,and decided to stop in after living in BG for years I had never actually gone to this tavern, but was very impressed ....The waitress was very friendly, and attentive our food wss spectacular, and they actually have my friends "The LACs" on their jukebox to jam out to..The back patio was very nice and relaxing with the river right there...thanks from us both, and see y'all very soon.....
