Super nice greeting and seated quickly. Our server was attentive and personable. The menu had a good variety. We had the chowder special for our appetizer. It was very good and the bread was unbelievably good. We had the prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes. It was cooked perfectly. 13 moons was fantastic, highly recommended.

We reserved, and that got us a lovely window table, which gave us some distance from 2 loud huge tables of diners. Not far enough to allow much conversation though. The service and meals were exceptional. Our seafood entres were delicious. Very pleased overall.

Being new to PNW, I'm always on the hunt for dining experiences. My goal is to try a different restaurant each week, with an eye towards fine food at fair prices. This week, 13 moons piqued my interest with its menu, scenic views, and cocktail selection. I'm a little wary of dining in casino restaurants, but with so many great reviews, I had to give it a try. I was not disappointed! All of the menu items delivered to our party of 4 were delicious! The crab cake and sea scallops were grilled to perfection and our side salads were fresh and well presented. Entrees of prawn fettuccine, and filet mignon were also fabulous! Treat yourself, make 13 moons one of your dining adventures. You'll be back. I know I will!

We went there for our 5 year wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The food was wonderful, especially the crab cakes. The staff was kind and attentive without and because it was our anniversary they gave us a complimentary dessert. Will definitely go again.

Probably the best restaurant in the Anacortes area. It's a little costly for good reason. We split our salad and main and they did it graciously in the kitchen. Plenty of food for two.
The scallops are excellent and the lamb shank was great.. very enjoyable, we will come back in the future.

13moons is a very good restaurant. I wouldn't put it on the same level as a five-star dining experience, but for the Anacortes area, it is a great restaurant and setting for a fancier date night or to celebrate a milestone occasion. I had the filet mignon, and it was good. I believe it was an angus cut, so it wasn't prime, but overall it was tender and cooked to temperature (medium-rare). The presentation of the dish was fine, but not photo worthy. My seasonal margarita was very good and well-presented. The bread course felt run-of-the-mill. Nothing special, and better tasting with a good drenching in the balsamic vinegar/olive oil dipping sauce. For a slower night, the service was a bit slow for pre-ordering. After ordering, everything happened at a natural pace. My water glass was consistently refilled, and the appropriate check-ins from my server were on schedule. For those that aren't aware, the 15% discount from your Signature Rewards card is for one entree only. The table next to me was a bit appalled about that revelation - it is not posted conspicuously. In fact, unless it is on the menu, I couldn't find it anywhere on the website - the language simply states “ daily 15% discount”. Staff at the rewards desk did say it could be used once per day, but not that it was for only one entree at 13moons. This is a bit deceptive and should be fixed immediately to avoid further confusion, especially if one is to treat their self.

So I had booked a table for outside but unfortunately the weather was not very good. So I had said for second choice inside seat by the window. When we got there the hostess was very rude to us. When she spoke to her manager about where to put us, she rolled her eyes and proceeded to go sit us away from the window. There was a place open so I went back and talked to someone else and she immediately put us there. So our waiter was very nice and polite. Even when my friend asked to get a different prime rib cuz it was too fatty. He took away right away and agreed. But he did come back and say that's all we have there. So would you like something else. So my friend ended up getting a tenderloin which made her much happier and it was delicious. I had the halibut with crab and hollandaise sauce and mashed potatoes and it was divine! We both were celebrating our birthdays so we're giving a ice cream dessert which was lovely. Our waiter really made our experience so much nicer than when we first came in! ❤️
