My daughter turned 11 years old and chose the Majestic for her dinner celebration. Ruthann, Kaytlyn and Trevor made the night so special for her. Dinner was amazing and the busy restaurant was festive and welcoming. We had the pork chop, fish and chips and the burger with a takeout order of chicken too. We will be back for sure.

The Bistro & Bar at the Majestic in Anacortes, Washington is a lovely spot for dining. My husband and I enjoyed the cioppino and a steak salad with creme brulee for dessert. All excellent! Our server extraordinnare, Ruth Ann was wonderful! She made our dinner date extra special.

The filet mignon was cooked well done. Who does that? The crab cakes are food service products with non-existent crab. This community is FULL of commercial crabbers! They have ZERO excuse for not buying local crab, and making handmade crab cakes, and oh, supporting our local crabbers. And the mixed drinks are three sips and done. It's basically a tourist trap, not an exclusive, fine-dining restaurant that they put on airs to be.

Great place for a bite to eat. Prices are very reasonable for a high class establishment. Salmon chowder is excellent. Ruth Ann, our server, was very pleasant and knowledgeable of Anacortes. The Bistro is centrally located to the rest of Anacortes. Highly recommend it

The food here is not good. We found it extremely disappointing! The apple crumble was a conglomeration of syrupy granola with apple in there somewhere and topped with more sweetness. Or was not set but more like a bowl of individual items. The morning granola and yoghurt seemed to consist of broken oat cookies with the yoghurt. The French toast and bacon was good however.

The front desk was making calls to each room on speaker phone so loud you could hear it in the restaurant and bar area. The manager asked her to please pick up the phone to make them, but she continued. I went out and commented, and she stated she is just doing her job. Maybe a back office job for her, not the front desk. 😳

Breakfast menu looked good and affordable. Food was good. Service was poor. On the first day we ordered scrambled egg whites, on the next day it was not possible, the waitress said ‘we don’t have egg whites’….. Another couple in our group had to wait 45 minutes before they got their food. Unfortunate experience as the Inn is very nice and all other services were great.

We went for happy hour and got the truffle fries, Brussel sprouts, and fried calamari. The bistro was upscale and relaxing. Had good views of the street. Small but good selection of wine beer and cocktails. There is a beautiful lookout at the top. I would come here again for happy hour.

One of the best meals I have ever had, rivaling New Orleans or even Paris. I ordered the wedge salad and tuna tartare - liked it so much I had the salad again the next night and on my request added a piece of salmon that was flaky and perfectly seasoned. I normally don't order wedge salads because iceberg lettuce is, well, boring. But in this case the blend of flavors in the salad. was simply perfect. The only thing missing from the meal was bread.

Good food and nice people. The atmosphere is a bit sparse though. Not bad for a hotel restaurant.

5th Street Bistro at the The Majestic Inn and Spa has been a favorite of mine for quite some time. Lauren and Caesha are top notch servers who value not only your business but your kindness. Check them out some time and enjoy the great food and atmosphere.

Came in late from San Francisco with my family. Ruth Ann took amazing care of us, the beer was poured by the time I ordered it and all of us hungry travelers were happy and satisfied after the meal. Thank you!

Excellent food and service. The atmosphere is slightly less than ideal (very hotel-like), but if you’re staying at the Inn, it’s the perfect place to have dinner or breakfast. We enjoyed both meals thoroughly!
