I've been to Adrift a few times, but not lately so decided to try it again. Food is consistently good. The reason for the average rating is that I've also found the prices to be consistently high for the value received and the portions too small for my appetite. I had the pan fried oysters, which were good but no fries or much else with them to fill me up with. I went away hungry. Yes, I could have added an appetizer but don't really feel like I should have to pay $50 to get filled up at lunch. My friend had salads and the garlic Brie burger which were tasty. Service was fine, friendly and attentive.
It was so delicious we wanted to go back the next day, but they are closed on Sunday. The staff are fun, attentive and helpful. All three of us were mmmmm ing and awe ing over our food. The flavors were KAPOW excellente on our taste buds. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Thank you all for a great meal and superior service!
The food was filling and the ingredients good quality but a little too salty. Service was good, but as soon as paid not even a thanks/goodbye.
Top notch. Went with a kid with peanut/tree nut allergies. Both staff and food were phenomenal. We had crabcakes and a seafood plate. Both were outstanding.
We returned to Adrift Restaurant in Anacortes for catering our yacht club event because we had learned from past experience that this restaurant offers excellent seafood menu choices, chalker-block with loads of a variety of fish, shrimp, scallops, clams, and mussels. Our PTYC August Art Festival gathering was a smashing success with delicious catered seafood, vegetables, and fresh salad. Everyone complimented the food, on-time catering service! We wish to highlight the kindness of the Adrift team for providing one vegetarian as well as the last minute provision of a chicken risotto meal for a boater with seafood allergy. Smiles all around for a wonderful evening with amazing seafood ++.
Many Gluten free options besides salad. Salmon with risotto and broccoli was prepared perfectly with great flavor. GF marked on menu and dessert was a mixed berry crisp. Great service too. We arrived shortly after 5 and wasn’t seated until 5:45. Next time we will make reservations.
Staff is great. Food is only OK. Price is high. Very loud with uncomfortable seating. It is hard to justify the high rating of this establishment.
Sat at the counter and watched the kitchen- efficient, friendly and clearly highly skilled. Food was amazing. Will definitely be back again
It was hugely insulting. Just because I am an older handsome gentleman, does that automatically make me a dirty old man? Watch out people. Don’t say anything nice about anyone.
Darian S provided superb service to my table of four gals on vacation to see Tulip farms nearby. Each of us had a special request - either dietary or level of spice! Each of us ordered something different, from drinks (Lemon Drop, Wine, tea!) through mains and appetizer, to dessert (fruit crisp, THE DAVER). Wish I lived close enough to taste everything. Thanks again, staff, and Darian.

This is our new favorite place to visit when we’re in town…in fact we might come back 2 days in a row! Food was excellent, drinks were perfect, and service (Jen our server and staff) were all awesome! I would go above 5 stars if I could…and I’m picky lol. My hubby got a picture of his clams, so that’s the post, but the bruschetta, Thai soup, and clams were a hit. Don’t miss out on the Sailor Spiced Old Fashion and the Huckleberry Lemon Drop. What a gem!

My wife, friend, and I just ate here for dinner this evening (Feb 1st). Absolutely delicious food. The service was wonderful and everyone was very friendly. The crab cakes were absolutely amazing, definitely the best I've had in my entire 32-year life. The pan-fried oysters were fantastic appetizers, and the apple crisp a la mode was ridiculously tasty. We left very pleased and no one was hungry!
My wife and I are visiting Seattle for a few short days from Indiana, so seafood is something we knew we needed to try. Our friend lives in Mt. Vernon and we just went on a little hike to Mt. Erie, this was the perfect way to end the night. I can't wait for the next time we are in the area because we will be back!

Wow! What an amazing place! The food was delicious - I got cioppino and my husband had a rice noodles stir fry. The staff was incredibly friendly. We loved our server Darian and we enjoyed our delicious food. I even got a free dessert 🍨 for my birthday! We definitely are coming back! ❤️
