I've been to Adrift a few times, but not lately so decided to try it again. Food is consistently good. The reason for the average rating is that I've also found the prices to be consistently high for the value received and the portions too small for my appetite. I had the pan fried oysters, which were good but no fries or much else with them to fill me up with. I went away hungry. Yes, I could have added an appetizer but don't really feel like I should have to pay...
It was so delicious we wanted to go back the next day, but they are closed on Sunday. The staff are fun, attentive and helpful. All three of us were mmmmm ing and awe ing over our food. The flavors were KAPOW excellente on our taste buds. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Thank you all for a great meal and superior service!
We returned to Adrift Restaurant in Anacortes for catering our yacht club event because we had learned from past experience that this restaurant offers excellent seafood menu choices, chalker-block with loads of a variety of fish, shrimp, scallops, clams, and mussels. Our PTYC August Art Festival gathering was a smashing success with delicious catered seafood, vegetables, and fresh salad. Everyone complimented the food, on-time catering service!
