A'Town Bistro Reviews
A'town is our favorite restaurant in Anacortes for a date night! The food is always amazing and I love that the ingredients are locally sourced and seasonal. Everything I've had there has been amazing and the service is always wonderful! Highly recommend
Last night was a great meal here. The best clam chowder in the Pacific Northwest is here. Made to order with whole clams. I brought three of my friends and the service was outstanding from the reservation confirmation to the end. A friend of mine has some specific dietary things and were able to accommodate.
Each dish looked great and I could taste the freshness.
This is a must go to place in Anacortes.
Delicious food and great service!

A'Town Bistro is a local gem that offers a unique and delightful dining experience. The menu features an array of "toasts" that are surprisingly large and made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The service is top-notch, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff that can guide guests through the refined menu. The restaurant is also praised for its accommodating approach to dietary restrictions, making it a must-try for anyone in the Anacortes area.
The restaurant is known for its excellent beer selection on tap and outstanding service. The clam chowder is considered the best in town, with top-notch clams and a rich yet restrained broth. The French Onion soup is highly praised as the best west of the Mississippi, with a fabulous mixture of melted cheeses, toasts, caramelized onions, and perfect spices, served at the perfect temperature. The food here is above average and hard to find this level of quality elsewhere in Anacortes. The duck breast salad is so lightly dressed that it allows the ingredients to shine through, and the sautéed garlic scapes are highly recommended. The macerated-preserved fruits via charcuterie are also delicious.
Guests have enjoyed the cozy ambiance, often made warm by a fireplace, though the restaurant can get a bit noisy when busy. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, with delicious mocktails and exquisite cuisine. While the onion soup was described as bready and overly cheesy, the fried squid was satisfactory, with the ink-based sauce elevating the dish, though the overall spicing was dull. The restaurant's ability to accommodate many dietary restrictions, including gluten-free options, makes it a great choice for a variety of diners. Overall, the nice atmosphere, good beer selection, and excellent food make A'Town Bistro a popular spot worth planning ahead for.
