Husband and I went for our wedding anniversary as an appetizer for our dinner! Love the ambiance - it's pretty dark but gives a moody vibe. The noise level can get pretty loud with everyone enjoying and talking so it got difficult for my husband and I sitting across from each other to hear one another. When we came it, we were a bit confused on how seating worked, but we found them towards the bar area. It was a packed night, lots of groups of friends. We waited about 15 minutes for a table. We were able to order drinks before sitting down. When we got our charcuterie, they explained what pairs well with each other which I really like! Everything was delicious!

Such an all-around warm and relaxing place to hang out! The energy and the vibe are very low key and the service is on point. Not too much and not too little. I have been here a few times and the experience is consistent. The owner's engaging conversation kept us entertained throughout the entire evening.The charcuterie board was the stuff of dreams. It boasted an impressive mix of in-house creations and local goodies from A-Town Bistro. I tell you, every morsel was bursting with flavor and had me wanting to order more and more. It was an experience not to be missed.And the wine! Oh, the wine. It was fantastic, to say the least. We opted for a small charcuterie board to share between the two of us, and it was the perfect accompaniment to the delicious wines we were enjoying.Speaking of the bar, I highly recommend sitting there when you visit Blackbird. It's where the action is. Engage with the delightful staff. I visited Blackbird on a birthday trip to Anacortes, and I can honestly say it was one of my favorite parts of the trip. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. The seating is comfortable, and is set up into multiple intimate areas. The staff is so warm and welcoming. My partner and I are admittedly not very experienced with wine, but after discussing our likes and dislikes we were recommended two very good wines. We ultimately bought a bottle of one of them as well. The small board was a large portion for two people, and had a great variety of tasty treats. I can't recommend this place enough!
Very comforting atmosphere with couches and comfortable chairs. Felt like I was sitting in my living room. They were very accommodating for my large group. Service was friendly and informative. The wine was just perfect. I hade the Syrah fro Italy and it did not disappoint. We ordered the cheese charcuterie board with Brie and the hummus board. Bothe were well made and delicious! I recommend this place to relax and enjoy your company.
