Bob's Chowder Bar & BBQ Salmon

Ordered some dinner from door dash, was quick to get to us so I know it wasn’t a door dash issue, food was cold, got the fried pickles and it was pickles with a side of fried whatever they coat on it, nothing stuck to the pickles and they were SO soggy. Ordered the rock crab chowder and it looks so unappealing, my partner tried it because I couldn’t even fathom eating it and she had to spit it out, saying it tasted like all the parts of the crab no one wants to eat. Very very disappointed, especially for the price.

Cute place on the outside. Prices are steep and portions disappointing for simple fare. The wait staff was unfriendly andi've had a serious stomach ache since lunching there today. I do not recommend.

French fries were delicious crispy outside soft hot inside and salted nicely. Clam showderbowl is sourdough and very tasty covered bowl with parm to prevent too much soup seepage. Seasoned parked and toasted the lid to the sourdough I n the side. Yummy jalapeño margaritas!

Overall pretty good we had fish and chips and a salmon salad.

Everything was old and sticky. The prices were really high for something’s on the menu.

This place needs a serious remodel, the atmosphere isn't that good. Food was fine but overpriced. There are much better options in town.

Food was terrible. My children wouldn’t even eat it. The calamari tasted over cooked and yet the batter was undercooked. The chowder was so thick and tasted like flour. Customer svc was good tho

So, walking in, there were like 10 "Best Clam Chowder" certificates framed around the lobby...and I cynically thought "Yeah, right"... Yeah. Correct. Yes. True. Absolutely. I would commit felony crimes for this chowder. I have already replanned my itinerary around this chowder. I will dream about this chowder and wake up in anguish that I am hundreds of miles from again experiencing this ambrosia of the culinary gods. The rest of the food also measures up. Not one misstep across three meals and an appetizer. Let me be clear, this is not a review, this is an act of adoration. Small, local, delicious, great service, great atmosphere, and by all that is holy DID I MENTION THE FOOD? If you plan to be within about three days driving distance, you owe it to yourself to make the journey. Your soul will be rewarded.

Fun little place. Stopped for some chowder and calamari. Food was very good, service was excellent.

Very good fish and chips. The breading was crunchy and had good texture. The fish pieces were thick and flavorful. Its a cute little spot to stop and have a bite to eat. We will be going back.

We got the Cod Sandwitch and the Salmon Wrap. The fries had perfect crisp. Yummy in my tummy.

Wow! Delicious. These guys know how to fry food! The fries are amazing. Fish n chips soooo good. Fresh flavors and great taste. 11/10 recommend
