Best Texas BBQ outside of Texas. The smoked pork ribs are so tender that it melts in your mouth.

I'm from out of town :) probably a lot of us are it being an oil town. So finding food is kinda a sport for me. I got the texas brisket Sammy and it was good; fresh onions, toasted bread and soft brisket. I also got a side of beans and 10/10 the only thing I would say was the brisket needed a wet, some sauce or mustard or something, I probably could have asked but I was in a hurry and needed food. I will be back to try the pork. No photos because I was busy driving and eatingParking: Gravel
The display was nice, actually, and the toast on the bun was spot on ..Here comes the but... the pulled pork was flavorless and dry. The Cole slaw was a bit odd..Dijon mustard in it, maybe ? Would have been nice if it came with a bit of bbq sauce to add at your discretion. Overall, I would not go back. Sorry, I'm not trying to be mean or anything. This was my experience.

Ordered the Carolina BBQ sandwich with Mac n cheese. The meat and bread were good, I wasn't personally a fan of the sauce in the coleslaw it was sour with a strange flavor and made it so I could only eat half the sandwich, which was disappointing. The Macaroni and cheese was very soft and separated, the cheese was chunky and had a chunky mouth feel.

This place is legit!? you might find prices a bit high, but you have to understand the process of smoking briskets & pulled pork. These folks are up early making magic happen on the grill! The flavor of the food matches the cost! I'll make it a point to stop in for lunch when in town! Highly recommend this place...! Lol & don't be scared of getting BBQ sauce on your hands & face! It's all about the authentic slow smoked cook experience!

We stopped here on the way to the ferry, as one does on a Labor Day weekend, and experienced both a supper friendly service with the gentlemen who took our order/cooked for us and a fantastic taste with the BBQ. The service was fast so it’s a great spot to pick up some great food while waiting for the ferry. The meat was smoky and tender and complimented by the other sandwich toppings — it was nice to see sauces honoring the different bbq traditions of the American South!So, what are you waiting for? Stop on by Dad’s dinner, the grill is hot and the family’s all here!Parking: The parking is shared with O’Reilly Auto parts.
