We have had both in house and take out. The in-house was superb. The take out was a disappointment. My hand roll was rubbery and very disappointing. My wife’s response on hers was “I have had much better “

We will eat in house again but will never order for takeout again.

I love the food here so much! Basically, it's a dream menu - anything you could ever want is on this menu - Japanese, Thai, Korean, ramen, sushi... they even have salads if you just want something green! The servers and bartenders are so kind. I love that they have a sake sampler! Can't wait to come back!

I love their sushi and ramen, i had shoyu ramen, it was amazing warm, umami and their chacu pork was the best! It tender and yummy. And furthermore its super reasonable price. Its the place to go whenever we come to Anacotes!

It's average Skagit valley fare. The fried tofu was pretty terrible, my wife ordered a veggie roll and said it was not great, she ate one piece and tapped out. I had the orange chicken and a unagi nigiri. The nigiri was average at best but the orange chicken was solid, actually quite good. The only star of the experience was the orange chicken. All in all it was expensive for what we ate, and not really someplace we'll be returning to.

I have been to De Asian for lunch twice in the last month. We ended up ordering special sushi rolls and ramen - different types each time. The food has been fantastic, excellent service and very friendly staff. We will be back again!

Very cute classy restaurant hidden in Anacortes. Definitely a must for one of the fine dining options. Friendly staff which helped with recommendations. Fresh well prepared and delicious.

Wonderful selection and the food is excellent (did not have the sushi though). The prices are also low especially considering the quality and quantity of food. Attentive and very good service both dining in and taking out.

Update: we visited last night and ordered the monster lobster roll, the Anacortes roll, the California role & the orca roll and they were delicious but as usual. But the monster lobster roll stood out as the last time we were there. Towards the end, we heard some music.Like jingling and they came out with a big boat full of sushi for a table near by. They call it the love boat. We might have to give that a try next time.But it'll be tough for it to beat the monster lobster roll.

We were so happy to find this sushi bar. The ratings attracted us. Everything was perfect the service, the food, my favorite thing is the monster lobster roll. Everyone was very polite and even the owner stepped away from making the sushi to fill up a gallon jug for my BMW which runs on gas and water these days, LOL. We are looking forward to visiting again, hopefully we'll bring more family and friends in the future. I would recommend adding pictures of the great dishes to the menu, because we almost didn't get the monster lobster roll, but had we seen the picture there would have been no doubts.
So glad we have this awesome sushi bar in our little town.

We've eaten here several times and, more often, order carry-out food online, which is what we did a few nights ago. We've been very impressed by the food, and the service was always fine. But this time our order wasn't ready when I arrived. No big deal there, but I wound up waiting in the restaurant for over a half hour beyond the estimated pickup time. During this time, I saw another patron come in, order at the podium, and go away in 10 minutes with their food. After a while I noticed two bags sitting up on the counter, so I asked the waiter again how long it would be before our food was ready. He went up and checked the bags and they were ours. It had obviously been sitting there a long time because the hot dishes were cool. It was a terrible experience, and despite our previous good experiences here, I'm not sure we'll ever come back.

The sushi was the best we have had in a very long time. Super fresh, tasty, delicious salmon, tuna and crab!! We had the best server too, Been, you have to ask for him. You won't regret it!!

A few months later....September 9th, 2025. Best ever sushi!!! The yarddog roll is the best of all fish choices. The Anacortes roll to die for, the spicy tuna, simple but delicious. The luxury rainbow roll, super, super fresh fish. We will be back for sure the next time we are in town!!

De Asian is an absolute gem in town! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every dish feels like it’s made with care. The service is warm and welcoming, and you can tell the team truly takes pride in what they do.

It’s quickly become one of our go-to spots, whether for a casual meal or a night out with friends. We’re lucky to have such an amazing Asian restaurant right here in the community!
