Amazing sandwiches, but gigantic portions. Even the half sandwiches are substantial. One note, the pickles are vinegar cured - not my favorite, but hey the rest of the food is really top notch.
Another place that lives up to the hype! A+++ some of the best sandwiches I've had traveling the country. The French dip is amazing with thick sliced tender roast beef on a quality bread. Au jus could personally be a little stronger but still excellent. The hot pastrami on rye(east coast) is easily among the best out there, including delis on the east coast. Wonderful sandwiches, great customer service, all in a nostalgic setting. Setting that'll bring you back to your childhood. Go for the sandwiches, and the cheesecake will steal your heart. They have a great selection of old fashioned sodas. Order online early and pick it up. Before you get into the ferry line. You'll be glad you did!
