The wife wanted Italian for anniversary dinner, so we went and got some. if you want some boring place with good food this isn't the place for you. If you want amazing food and authentic people, this is your spot. The food was absolutely delicious and the servings were good sized! This is as close as one can come in Washington to the feel of the many quality restaurants one experiences in Italy. It just has the feel of authenticity - crowded, noisy, wonderful food. The owners should rightfully proud of their creation.
It is very popular and difficult to get into. Reservations only for larger groups. For two, you just wait. Arriving after 8:00 pm might be a good choice.

The service is great but the traffic up and down main aisle is distracting.
Also, they kept trying to take my plate which I wasn't done with, annoying.
