Real Tequila Bar and Restaurant

Would not recommend this place . Service was horrible .. just wanted a beer and no chips were offered . . This was my second time . Never again.

Definitely would not recommend. We are not going back. The food was quite blend and boring. Had chicken burrito, enchilada, chalupa, plus pork enchilada. The pork was dry, the pulled chicken lame tasting. Their beans, rice and salsa were kind of ok.
Mostly feel like sludge to fill yourself up with.

Their mimosa was gross, mostly cheap orange juice for $9, margaritas really pricey at $15 with tax

One of those lunch you wish you had made your own, especially for $70.

Was the only place I went when I was in Anacortes and had fraud on My card do not let them use their Apple pay for your bill !! Because the timeline has expired I have had to file police reports because Apple pay will do nothing about this....beware.

Jose is an incredibly rude person. i got a burrito and while it was massive, it was severely lacking in flavor. Jose apparently made the food himself based on the way he took offense and argued with me about it. he asked how the food was, (i had taken 3 bites and pushed it aside). i said “i’m so sorry, it’s not great.” his response was to sneer “are you kidding me?” i said “no, i taste absolutely no seasoning whatsoever.” he points to other tables and says “well they’re eating it, everyone else is eating it, you just don’t like our food” well jose, i guess not. for $16 i’m not going to force myself to eat something that is tasteless. good service would be asking if there’s anything else you can do to improve the experience, not getting personally offended and treating me like i’m ridiculous for not thinking your water flavored burrito was worth my hard earned money. embarrassing behavior from a grown man.

A very average experience, with nothing to stand out with the exception of a lack of salt in the food. I figure the target demographic are on a low sodium diet... It's not really Mexican food even though all the items on the menu are standard Mexican fare, it tastes like ingredients off of a big supply company. The salsa, out of a can or jar, as well as the sauces. It's just not authentic. It's not offensive, but it's not authentic in the least. Very generic.

After a tiring day, we dropped into the "Real Tequila" hungry and found an empty restaurant (but that was only due to the unusual time at which we came to eat and later the restaurant filled up)!
We are big fans of Mexican cuisine and the three different burritos were really delicious. There were also chicken nuggets with cheeky fries for the little one. It's great that the burritos tasted completely different ??
Afterwards, smoothies and fried ice cream, all at a really fair price.
Oh well, don't forget that: the service was quick, friendly and up for a joke or two

My family loves everything about this place. We cheated on them with El Jinete and it was awful. ONLY request to improve atmosphere…turn that music up, it’s quiet! Real Tequila is the bomb!

My family lives in the San Juans, and when I'm heading to the ferry dock this is by far the best Mexican restaurant. Not just in Anacortes but in general. LOVE it.
