I've been a customer of Starbucks for nearly 35 years. In all of 8 years of supporting this location and tipping handsomely for all of that time, I was accused by Melissa Karaff, district manager, of "leering at the employees, touching myself going through the drive-through, and being disrespectful to the staff."I was handed a tresspass notice by a cop 3 weeks ago. 3 weeks later Melissa Karaff sent me an email last night, outlining why I'm tresspassed from Starbucks. She decided 3 weeks later, after lying to a cop - to harass me and add more lies. She banned me from all Starbucks in Skagit County for not living up to a moral code of conduct, all while lying through her teeth to a cop, to me and to corporate. I never met her before. Never did any wrong to anyone. I am a business owner in Anacortes. I was on my way to a customers house and stopped there to gift my customers. I have a reputation of professionalism and ethical conduct to uphold - both for my customers and potential customers. I'm not a sexual deviant, a pervert nor am I willing to stand for this dusgusting abuse. I have a big heart and volunteer in Anacortes. I detail houses and quite good at it with 40 years in customer service. My name, conduct and behavior matters to me. How I act and treat people, matters to me! I practice the golden rule of being good to others. I care about the quality and decency of how I treat people. I have treated people in this town with kindness, and live by a code of conduct as my career and lifestyle demands it. I don't touch myself going through a Starbucks drive-through on my way to work, leering at the baristas, or do things that would jepordize a 40 year career and the trust of the entire Anacortes Community. Cameras dont lie, but Melissa does! Anyone viewing that video would see that she lied. The cop wouldnt even check. Flat out refused to look at any evidence. I live by a moral code of compassionate and ethical behavior. As far as being accused of leering at the employees and touching myself through their drive-through... I had a wife that cheated on me and was unfaithful. My heart was broken by her and I never recovered. I don't date, I don't recklessly eyeball women or men, I don't lust and I have no personal interest in jacking off in their drive-through, or touch myself while leering at anyone, or put up with this level of abuse, drama and misconduct. My trust was shattered by my ex. I don't sexually objectify women. If people knew how hard it is to heal from betrayal, they would treat me with respect. These lies that the baristas and Mellissa Karaff have leveled against me are immoral and go against everything that I believe in and practice in my daily life...and no one should support this Starbucks or any other for that matter. I have carried the pain from losing my wife due to her infedility and never remarried or dated again because of being burned by others immorality. I'm a spiritual man. Not a pervert! I treat people with respect. The disgusting abuse, guilt trip and getting banned for misconduct and violating ethics by these unethical, backstabbing baristas and Melissa Karaff, district manager - especially at Christmas - is a personal attack. If they did this to you, you would understand the level of humilation, and stupidity of these employees, manager and district manager. Being delusional is one thing, but to accuse someone falsely and guilt trip them about morality and ethics all while lying - is disgusting.

This is just the nicest coffee shop! It is cozy, friendly, and inviting. I normally order for take-out at Starbucks, but at this location I invite a friend and we linger over our coffee/tea and enjoy each other's company and the Anacortes community.

I come to this Starbucks when I am coming off San Juan Island to the mainland for work. No matter how early or late I come here to work on my computer and grab a coffee, the team here is always so personable and positive. I am constantly impressed with how clean and friendly the environment is. A+ team here!

Bummer about the remodel now exposing the washing area in the bathroom to the seating area so all year hear is the roar of the hand dryer if you attempt to converse at your table.
