The food was fabulous and worth the drive from Seattle! The staff was friendly and helpful w recommendations! Atmosphere was clean and cozy. Service was quick without rushing you. I'm use to restaurants holding us hostage and having to ask for bill & still waiting for them to bring it and to accept payment so was great to be able to leave when we were ready to! Will definitely come back again!!
The food is amazing. They do the best sushi in Anacortes Fri., Sat. and Sun. nights starting at 5p. 10/5 I came for sushi and settled for 2 pieces of perfect yellowtail nigiri for an appetizer because the chef convinced me to have the special. It was superb. Butterflied pork loin pounded flat, then rolled up with apples, Gruyère, bacon, and autumn spices. Served chanterelle and lobster cream sauce with roasted squash and mashed potatoes. Came in for Sunday brunch. No waiting time, staff was friendly and very efficient. Had the Sunnyside Smash burger, husband had the Chicken Fried Steak, and it was all amazing! Definitely recommend, we’ll most likely come back again next time we’re in the area!
