Poor Service and Unprofessional Attitude at Starbucks Smokey Point
I work directly across the street from this Starbucks and have been a loyal daily customer for quite some time. Every morning, I order the same drink: a Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso with 2 pumps of White Chocolate and cream. It’s always been consistent until Friday, June 20th at around 8:15 AM.
That morning, I was taken aback by the rude and dismissive attitude of the two baristas working the drive-thru. When I placed my usual order, they abruptly told me they “don’t make that drink” and insisted it was “not on the menu.” I pulled up the Starbucks app menu to show them that not only is it listed, but it’s also saved in my past orders. I even offered to show them previous receipts. Despite this, they spoke to me in a condescending and unprofessional tone.
When I tried to add something for my son, I said, “one sec,” but they rushed me through the rest of my order. To make it easier, I asked them to just make an espresso with white chocolate, add cream, and brown sugar syrup instead. When I received the drink, it was missing both the white chocolate and the cream. I politely pointed out the mistake, and instead of correcting it properly, one of the baristas took it back with clear sarcasm and attitude, added just a splash of cream, and handed it back still missing the white chocolate.
Not only was the drink wrong, but the attitude I received was completely unacceptable. Starbucks drinks are not cheap, and consistency and customer service are key especially for regulars. I ended up adding my own cream and sweetener at work just to make it drinkable.
Starbucks, please do better. What has always set you apart is the quality of your service. This experience was far below that standard. I truly hope this is addressed so future customers aren’t treated this way.

Worst Starbucks ever. We came in to get some drinks on our way north. The kids had to pee to the point where they couldn’t hold it. In a rush we asked for the code but the lady was more worried about if we were planning on making a purchase. Yes we ordered. Yes that was our intention. I’ll never go back here. I highly recommend avoiding this location

The barista was new and very lost, no one to help her.
Super rude manager. Told me I had to buy something or I had to leave. Felt threatened. I go to Starbucks almost every other day to get a drink and to be told you need to leave or get something was very alarming.
Emma and her crew radiate sweetness rivaling their vegan sweet cream foams! Big companies have forgotten that it's these folks (not CEOs or shareholders) who make their businesses tick. Thanks for making our drive up to Leavenworth brighter!

All I was asking for was to buy hot water with honey in it . I was told I have to make a additional purchase . I was going to pay for the hot water and cup + honey . I had my card and phone out . She just said no . So I paid for a cold water . To get the hot one . I did get a receipt or my points. I go to Starbucks down the road from my house all the time and all the people there are nice . If this is Starbucks way to make a dollar . Good luck.
7:30 this morning I hit the drive through and order a grande dark roast. No dark roast only pike. I ask for a pour over and they say 10 minutes! What the heck?! It is a weird trend that I can't get a good cup of coffee at Starbucks.

The morning crew, today 2/24/25, was outstanding. They worked well together and appeared to really enjoy their jobs. They were outgoing; engaging with every customer, polite and service oriented - it was a refreshing experience. Keep it...you are doing a great job.
