The counter person didn't know what a virtual/digital gift certificate is and didn't want to understand how it worked. I paid for my to go order and left. Why did I tip her? Made me a bit mad and disappointed in Taco Time.

Helpful service and clean place. But...the food is wildly underwhelming, especially for the very high price.

We stopped in for dinner. But they're machine wasn't working correctly. Couldn't take our payment. The lady asked her co-worker for help. She turned to us and said there is only 3 of us, I can't stop to help you. We just told her to cancel our order that we can go else where.

Is this a franchise? Unseasoned beef and runny thinned down ranch. The cutting corners to make more $$ is getting obvious...

I occasionally pop in for a very overpriced chicken soft taco meal with tater tots and a soda.

Love their food, its always fresh and hot. I just wish they had hotter than hot sauce, like in Oregon. We always get the CRISP Meat Burrito, Mexican fries, or the Casita Burrito. Never been disappointed. Must try their white chicken chili, it has a great flavor. Their prices are fair and walkways leave full and satisfied. We never go home without a bottle of their hot sauce.

Disrespectful, Unprofessional, and Just Plain Lazy

I come here often and usually spend between $40–$60. The food is pricey for fast food, but it’s normally pretty good — until tonight.

I placed an online order and went through the drive-through. They told me it wasn’t ready yet and to pull around to the front parking spaces and they’d bring it out shortly — no problem. But after 20 minutes, no one came out, no one went through the drive-through, and I could clearly see three employees standing around inside talking, laughing, and pointing toward my car.

Eventually I went inside to ask about my order, and as soon as I walked in, everyone suddenly walked away. One guy finally came over and asked how he could help. I told him I was waiting for the order I placed through the drive-through, and he said, “Oh yeah, your food’s right there.” It was just sitting on the counter — completely cold.

What bothers me isn’t that it took time. I’ve worked in customer service since I was 15, and I understand being busy or having an off night. What bothers me is the complete lack of respect or effort. They saw me parked right in front of the door in the online pickup spot, and instead of doing their job or simply saying something, they just stood there talking.

I don’t expect five-star service, but I do expect basic professionalism — respect for people’s time and money. I work long hours, often from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m., and I still manage to stay respectful and take pride in what I do.

Honestly, experiences like this are exactly why so many of these jobs are being replaced by automation and AI. When people can’t be bothered to do the bare minimum — acknowledging a waiting customer, handing out food while it’s still hot, or even pretending to care — companies will find something that can. And at this point, I can’t say I’ll miss the human version if this is the standard.

Couldn't find it. The sign near the freeway exit said turn left off the exit to get to Taco Time. We did, and then drive for miles without seeing a Taco Time or more directional signs. I set my GPS to take up back to the freeway and we didn't see it on the way back to the freeway either. Very disappointed.
