Stumbled across this charming family owned restaurant where the food is worth the wait. Quality takes time so come prepared to have your tastebuds teased and tantalized.
Perfect way to end a day of hiking. Food was outstanding. We love garlic and every single dish was covered in it. I felt like I was right in Ukraine while having my favorite childhood dishes!
Only got to try the appetizer. Service took too long, had to leave before I could place an order for a meal. Food was good, make sure you have ample time to wait for food, though. Felt like everyone else got served around us, but we were not.

The best gnochi I have ever had. We tried all 3 flavors of pierogi and all were fantastic. The piroshky was delicious as well.Parking: parking is right in front of restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Good atmosphere to bring kidsWheelchair accessibility: No stairs on entry. Slight incline from parking lot.
Pierogi are delicate and chewy. Kapusta salad was much better than the humble components would lead you to believe - slightly sweet, well seasoned and a nice offset to the carb heavy pierogi. Sour cherry pierogi are a must try.

You can find authentic Ukrainian food out in the wilderness!! The food was incredible and the waitresses were very sweet. They deserve more than 4 stars. And after a big hike in the forest it doesn’t get much better than this.
What a gem to find in Ashford. We had borscht, pirogies and meatball soup. All excellent. A couple of Ukrainian beers and we are happy campers.
