We FINALLY tried this awesome restaurant. I wish we hadn't waited so long. Food was grrreat! Service was awesome! My husband for the first time in 20 years couldn't finish his burger and fries. I was still full 3 hours later. And took home what I couldn't eat there. Jager schnitzel and sides were awesome. Strudel was amazing. We'll be back

If you are visiting LC Valley, or Hell's Canyon area and you want to try some good old German cuisine, recommend Matt's Grill & Resort. Quaint set-up with two adjacent rooms. Main room with bar and stools & 6-8 tables. German accents.
If you have a yearning for "Schnitzel" (unique for this area) this is the place for you: Weiner, Jager, Chicken, or Beef Schnitzel. Also, many traditional German side dishes. Entrees come with desert. We dined...

When I was really sick they were very kind I would call in my order and they would bring it out to my car for me and the food is excellent

Parking: Lots of parking close to the entrance

Kid-friendliness: When you come in to pick up an order or stay for dinner, they always know your name, they're welcoming and always ask how your day is going
