When they realized I had a slip card. They inform me very rudlu they needed my drinks back they would not take my card. Will be reporting to health department.

First off want to say the Graveyard Barista always does a Great job making drinks aswell with mine! Even though there is some nights she is dealing with so many customers it would get busy at times it's hard for her to get through everyone while waiting in line backed out with so many cars still she gets it done right! I appreciate the way she always tries to make sure the place is ready for the next person! Noticed the other night ago she had organized the place very neatly and kept it clean yet come around the other couple nights there everything un organized while she tried maintaining everything organized and clean!

The girls were more than sweet. The girl Sia was super bubbly and kind. I really liked her. She got me taken care of quickly and made my son a beautiful rainbow milkshake. I got the super berry redbull which was delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Just stopped in for a coffee and bagel before a job interview. The baristas working were incredibly friendly and supportive. The coffee was great and I am looking forward to my next visit.
as of 1-29-2024 the team at this locations has been extremely consistent with the drinks, I've noticed a better atmosphere and better customer service since the new manager Michelle stepped in, I drive past 4 other BF's just to come here and get the drink i want done right. Mythical Mocha Blended with Extra Caramel Drizzled for the win!

This location in particular claims to not accept cash. The idea that BigFoot Java is cashless goes against recent local ordinance installed by King County for cash reliant civilians. There exemptions businesses can apply for during hardships, but it is unclear if Bigfoot Java applied for this exemption and has the legality to refuse cash. However, this isn’t necessarily what’s really going on: It should be noted that Bigfoot Java DOES accept cash at this location, they just cannot give owed change back to the customer. If a location is going to be exempt from accepting cash, they cannot accept cash at all unless it’s a direct tip to the employees working at the time. Otherwise, it’s straight up theft. I asked one of the employees if they were able to “tip themselves” by ringing up the drink as a cash payment, and just tipping themselves with my change. I was told they could do that, I just couldn’t receive my change. I don’t see how any exemption or law can protect Bigfoot Java from giving people their change back. It either needs to be full cashless, or they need to accept tender and legally give what they owe to the customer back. The laws surrounding this are unclear, but I’ll continue to be vigilant and try to reply to this post to keep people updated.TLDR BigfootJava Auburn Way South (by HWY18) DOES accept cash, they just cannot give change back to customers.It should be noted the service here is “okay”. The atmosphere is upbeat, and they’re always playing music. Some people think it’s cool, some people dislike it. I personally think it’s cool, I enjoy seeing the baristas have a good time. I just wish they would be more inclusive of their customers. It seems like they have a job to do, it sucks, they hate it, etc. rather than an opportunity to make customers happy.Overall this location isn’t too bad, it’s just frustrating not getting your change. Feels like a “forced tip” and it feels like theft, and with only one or two local ordinances managing cash payment options, it’s unclear if them keeping your change is theft. I consider it to be.It should also be noted that there isn’t a notice that cash isn’t accepted on one of their windows (the window facing the strip mall, unsure if there is a notice posted on the window facing the road leading to HWY18.
