Everything I ordered was incredible. The Dal Makhani was my favorite, the taste and spice were perfect. I would also highly recommend the Butter Chicken, Chana Masala, and Chicken Biriyani. Their basmati rice was aromatic and cooked perfectly and the Garlic Naan and Butter Naan were so so good. When I picked up my order it was neatly packed and they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean. This will be my go to for Indian in Auburn and I will be ordering again!

This is our second time ordering from them and it has become our favorite Indian food in Washington! Highly recommend the vegetable samosas, Kashmiri malai kofta, chicken tikka masala, and any type of naan. We would probably recommend much more but that’s all we’ve tried so far. We will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu!
I ordered from this restaurant through DoorDash and was really disappointed. The food arrived stale and did not taste fresh at all. It seemed like it had been sitting out for a long time before being delivered.

The worst food I have had, anyplace. My friends and I barely touched our food after tasting it.
Food was good. Served hot and fresh. I ordered the spicy butter chicken and it had a sweet taste to it. The spice was there but the sweetness was a little overpowering.
The service was great and there’s a little bar in the back. The restrooms are dirty, so hope you don’t need to use it while you’re there.

I placed an online order with this restaurant for a large group, around dinnertime on a Saturday. It was my spouse's 40th birthday so it was a special event, but naturally he was like 'we don't need to order catering before, we can just order takeout' (so I'm sorry, Cardamom. I tried and failed to talk sense into him).
We ordered 30 things, and many of them had some sort of dietary need request attached (e.g., please make vegan; please note if not vegan; please no cilantro; etc). I was so anxious about making sure our guests would be able to eat something, and worried that Cardamom might not be able to accommodate.
Cardamom accommodated, and then some!! They made efforts to make as many of the items vegan as possible, and they made a note on EVERY SINGLE CONTAINER whether the item was vegan or not. No cilantro showed up anywhere. I was amazed and grateful. Not only that, they also threw in a few tasty desserts for us. Wow!
I will say that it looks like the old menu for Cardamom used to have a dedicated vegan section, which it no longer does. When I called the restaurant prior to placing the order, there were just a couple of things that they said they could make vegan. It would be nice if the vegan section could come back and even be expanded, but the efforts of the chef to make sure that we could all eat and be satisfied went above and beyond my expectations.

The tikka masala was overly creamy (barely orange) with weak flavor and the naan did not taste fresh. Only plus was rice and the service when i picked it up.
