Emerald City Smoothie

I really wanted to like this place since they advertise as a “healthy smoothie” spot, but both times I’ve been here have been bad experiences.

The first time, I specifically asked for a smoothie without dairy because I’m allergic. Despite confirming this, they still gave me a drink with dairy and I ended up vomiting the rest of the night.

I decided to give them another chance, but the second visit wasn’t any better. They charged my card before showing me what they were making and I didn’t realize they were making multiple drinks when I only ordered one. I ended up being charged for extra smoothies I didn’t want or ask for.

Between the lack of care for dietary restrictions and the confusing ordering/payment process, I can’t recommend this place. Definitely be careful if you have any allergies or want to make sure you’re only paying for what you ordered.

I've been going to emerald city smoothie since they started back in 97 I think 🤔. I'm loyal to the strawberry mega mass or as I've gotten older and fatter the mini mass but it's my favorite smoothie 🥤 anywhere. I could have one everyday and do whenever I've lived close by one.

I don't know what's up with this spot, this emerald smoothie cannot make a builder to save their life. Everywhere else their builder has some meat to it but when they make it it's mostly ice. Last time I got one from here the lady behind the counter didn't know that ice cream was an ingredient.

Always satisfied with the smoothie I choose even when choosing a new flavor. It's been a while since I have been to these places. I'm trying to get back on a heath tip. The clerks on duty are always suggestive when it comes to helping choose an order. Honestly felt a little rushed while trying to decide. I did not have to wait long after my order was placed to get back to work with time to spare to finish enjoying my break.

I normally don’t leave reviews but when the service is above and beyond it deserves recognition! Yesterday I came in and asked if we could accommodate my son’s food allergies, fully knowing that cross contamination is always a risk. The young lady was on it! She offered to triple wash the equipment and was very understanding. Smoothies were great and my son was very excited he got to enjoy something too!

I’m a regular at the Burien Emerald City Smoothie, so I got my order Sambazon and it tasted a little different, but in its own good way. The staff working on this hot summer day today are on top of it! I would recommend this location.

Absolute best and most healthy smoothies in the Puget Sound region.

Done with this auburn location. Rude service and never seem to make the drinks right compared to any other location I’ve been to. If I knew everyone else in the ratings felt the same, I would’ve given the workers just as much attitude back.

Ok Auburn Emerald, we’re unfortunately done with this location. We get ECS about once a week from various locations and if you have the ability, choose Kent or Fife locations over this one without a doubt. Service and drinks are MUCH better at the other locations, this one is staffed with bad attitudes and somehow the same drinks turn out sour and do not taste fresh.

Today we ordered a drink we’ve gotten elsewhere multiple times and it did NOT taste right, almost foul like the fruit was bad. The 2 girls were not great on smiles and service from the start but of course when we decided to walk back in to switch out a drink because of the not-right taste, she snaps that it’s a sour drink and supposed to taste that way. She says she can’t make a new drink instead and can just add another thing to maybe make it taste better…. I’m not sure of any other establishment that wouldn’t try to please a customer with a different product or option. The two girls walked away and whispered to each other as they added something else in and then handed it back. We’ve never had an issue quite as bad as today but we’re done with Auburn. 👋
