Let me start off by saying I eat at a ton of burger joints since I'm not much of a lunch packer. I've had good burgers at a few spots, but none as worthy of a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review as the bacon cheeseburger I had at Flame burger. It exceeded my expectations for what a cheeseburger should be. It was juicy, the veggies were crisp and fresh, just enough cheese, and the bacon...there was more bacon on that burger than the last 3 bacon cheeseburgers I had at other joints....
What a surprise! We pulled into this place because it was a drive through. We ordered. It was a really old school menu. Shakes and burgers and fish and chips. We pulled up behind the person in front of us, and they took FOREVER to get their food. I decided it either meant that they were understaffed, which is pretty common nowadays, or they were hand making everything.It was the latter. When we got to the window our bill came in a black waiters book with a pen. 8 minutes later...
Fries were okay but a little overpriced and not great by the time I got back home. The burger, however, was absolutely delicious and they have great milkshakes! Definitely recommend getting those more than anything!
