The new owners have done an AMAZING job with the menu and food!! Lately it seems sushi has been small and underwhelming. I'm seriously impressed with the larger portions and quality at this hidden gem! Not only do they have teriyaki and sushi they also have Indian food! Although it was my first experience with such, I can't wait to go back! It was delicious!! There really is something for EVERYONE! Bonus the owners are super nice!

I drive past this place everyday while at work , decided to go in today AND I DONT REGRET IT . That chicken teriyaki Hands Down No Lie Is the Best I’ve Tried so Far , That Chicken is Grilled To Perfection and that Sauce lord Jesus Was perfectly Sweet . In my Opinion The Best Out here in Auburn .

I Live within walking distance and I do take out often. Since the new owner ship, the food is amazing. Always have food ready quickly when I call my order in. I have tried many different dishes and everything I have tried is amazing! There are so many dishes, sushi and appetizers to choose from, it can be overwhelming! This is a must try restaurant!

The customer service was great. Server was super friendly. Food was absolutely delicious. The side salad sauce was amazing and so was the teriyaki chicken. The shrimp on one of the sushi rolls didn't taste completely fresh but overall, this place was wonderful. Absolutely would come

Happy Express is a great restaurant especially for where it's located in Auburn. There are very few restaurants around that area, and this one is really good. It's under relatively new ownership and the new owners are from India and they have incorporated an Indian food menu in addition to the teriyaki and sushi that they already make. It is unbelievably awesome that there is that much diversity in the menu there. The service is still great, and the staff there are extremely friendly and engaging. And the service was very fast. I think I waited a total of 5 minutes for my meal. The prices are reasonable, too. I cannot wait to go back and try the Indian menu now!
