Awful experience. Upon entering the store with my group of friends, we immediately noticed a short, elderly staff member tailing us, which left us feeling quite uneasy. Despite our discomfort, we brushed it off and proceeded directly to the Hot Wheels toy section, as that was our primary reason for being there. To provide some context, we were avid Hot Wheels collectors and were hoping to find some cars missing from our collection. While engrossed in examining the Hot Wheels display, I received a call from my mother, asking me to handle some errands during our outing. Unbeknownst to me, one of my friends had discreetly stashed a Hot Wheels toy in his pocket to avoid carrying it around openly in the store. Unfortunately, the elderly employee mistakenly believed he was attempting to steal the item and promptly escorted us out, sternly instructing us never to return. Regrettably, she did not grant us the opportunity to clarify the situation and immediately jumped to conclusions. Our visit to the store turned out to be a regrettable experience, all we had wanted was to browse Hot Wheels.

This review is specifically for the bakery staff which is amazing every time. My family has a few allergy considerations and food restrictions and the bakery staff patiently reviewed every label for our family occasion birthday cakes. We now drive here for every special occasion cake--even though we pass 8-10 bakeries on the way. Also, their cakes taste great and look amazing. Consistently friendly helpful staff too!

Over-priced, dirty store. But, main issue I have is the unfriendly staff. I encountered several employees that didn't smile. The cashier wasn't engaging in any conversation and quite frankly, clearly seemed to hate his job. As a customer service professional myself, and 15 yrs working as a server, I really was taken aback by the whole experience.

Honestly I rather shop somewhere else then here. The night shift people are no help the customer service needs to be better just like the other Safeways. I asked for help when I couldn't reach a product because it was at the way back of the top shelf and I asked the employee for some help and he said he couldn't help me because there was no one that could cover him at self scan even though no one was in the store. Then I walked around the store and I had customers come up to me for help with finding some stuff they were looking for because the employees weren't any help. SUPER RUDE EMPLOYEES AT NIGHT AND NO HELP AT ALL. Never visiting again.

We went to this Safeway to find some good cheeses and their specialty cheese selection was basically non-existent. It's a huge store with plenty of room in their deli. They need to get with the rest of the world on this, EVERY good grocery store has a good selection of cheeses except this one. I just don't get it.

It's close by, but I'd rather drive to Enumclaw. There are several checkers, very nice people, but I'm tired of the blatant shoplifting. Yesterday, one of the employees was walking her dog around the store. A lot of customers put their dogs in the shopping carts. The meth heads hang out there.

As we all know there is a mandate on masks. A lot of customers do wear them and I understand why . Do not want confrontation. I get that . Today I went to Starbucks to purchase a drink. The barista was not wearing a mask. I can understand that you cannot enforce the customers . Starbucks requires masks for employees. Who is the manager on duty and not do his/her job. This is totally unacceptable.

Half the employees don't wear masks properly. I have contacted the store manager Claudia six times in three months. Apparently they didn't get the information from the Health department or State of Washington. What a terrible situation. And how un-American.
